Other 11.7s include T-80U firing an inferior round for its armor increase.
B3 which has a mobility issue for its armor increase.
Arietes which reduce armor for their slight mobility increase and ammo increase.
Leopard 2PL which reduced ammo for mobility increase.
Lot of things at 11.7 in “the same boat.”
All of those either have superior armour, ammo, mobility or all 3. Lets compare Challanger 2 to the T-72B3 for example, a tank it in principle was designed to hard-counter (as far as brits have told me anyway), K5 can consistently stop L27A1 and this forces the breach or LFP sniping, however L27 has also degraded on the breach too so that’s an inconsistent shot at best.
The B3 also possesses greater mobility and armour coverage on a massively smaller profile. Compiling this with similar thermals, elevation and rotation speeds, better round, better anti-heli capabilities, more ammo variety, ERA that works… i can go on for a while here.
If the Challengers and their rounds where modelled well and more consistency applied to the frontal armour then I’d be absolutely fine with it being 11.7, however it has no upsides that warrant it being a higher BR than a tank like the TKX (P), which is significantly better and sat comfortably at 11.3

B3 and Chally 2 share effectively identical ammo performance, Chally 2 is more mobile thus will get hit less in competent situations than the T-72.
Of course on CQC maps UFP doesn’t matter cause mobility and idler wheel weakspots are meta.
With or without the B3M mod, because in that case they are roughly equal in the fact that it has far better straightline and turning speed, as a trade off to the CR2’s neutral steering and reverse capabilities
I always speak in spaded states with same-level crew unless stated otherwise.
What’s dumb is I use Leclerc more recklessly than Chally and other MBTs, but yeah Chally 2s are fine at 11.7.
