I’ve been experiencing a crash for about a week now. I’m pretty sure I’m not getting any error messages, just the crash report button. I’ll have to remember to confirm that next time it happens. I’d like to know if I can do anything with the .dmp files in \.gamelogs
or any other log files somewhere else.
The first things to do is basic diagnosis, and clearing out odd folders.
In the game folder is the Cache folder, clear that out, also in there is the compiledShaders folder, that can also be cleared out.
In the launcher (If you use vanilla) top right is a spanner, and in there you can verify the game files. If on steam, use the library and manage warthunder to verify the library.
From there, the files you seek to find are *.clog files, in that gamelogs folder. They are created each time you run the game so if you have extended game sessions, you may want to relog every so often so they’re ‘fresh’ and not huge.
These can be put forth to the issue reporting site ( Community Bug Reporting System )if nothing comes from making some changes to the settings and such.
There are other steps such as checking your video drivers are up to date, or of a stable version. Resetting the graphics settings can be something to also do.
But another real instance, could be your antivirus not having the game folder, not just the executable, exempted.
