Hi, I have about 45$ on Steam but I’m not really going to use it on games, so I want to buy GE with it. The thing is that I don’t have the Gaijin account linked to Steam and I have the game via the launcher. Any way to buy GE using Steam wallet? Please help

Its been a while but get the game on steam, launch it and sign in on a gaijin account option, then use the shift+tab thingy to navigate to the gaijin store and pay with steam wallet. Note - steam yoinks a fraction of the cost from you, its about 5% more expensive

nope, it logs me in with a steam account instantly
Go into your player card and click log in with different user
I can’t see that option there, only to change my username

exactly, and the new player card design is absolutely awful
oh wait, I do have the option to switch when I open the game via the normal launcher instead of steam. In the steam version there’s always an option to ‘email bind’, idk what that is tho

somehow I don’t remember how I did it though
I also created a ticket on gaijin support and this is what I got, pretty confusing
“Unfortunately, if the payment option is currently not displayed, it means that it is not available in your region at the moment.”
some guy wrote that comment on a youtube video: “Guys! if you always used gaijin launcher and wanted to switch to steam but keep the account: remove Steamapi from the win 32 folder and steamapi64 from win 64 folder” did he mean delete from the launcher or steam warthunder?
There used to be a “Bind Email” in the profile. This was used to add a email address to an account which was originally created on steam.
This button looks like is not present anymore with then new card.
Once you got the mail address added, you can use the same account to log into GJ store buy GE from there and it will be synched into steam ;-)
