I think it’s a good idea, I dont play often top tier (I only have squadron vehicle) but from what i know, the top tier game are full of new-player (Low Lvl.) so for me it can be a good add.

Only thing that should be done is a better balance matchmaker so low lvl/skill players are to play with same low lvl/skill players. I want to hear agony screams of those who are against newbies in top tier when they’ll be left with cybersportsmen dominating them to the point they are considered low lvl/skill players and put back to playing with them.
Fr people you wont get no kills if there are no those low lvls. But we do really need a matchmaker that would separate (at least until some games played in the mode) newer players from cybersport elite.

Locking premiums behind levels is a fantasy, not a system. Stat based system is at least a system. More than that, in such game as WT even stat based system isnt something to consider. More likely to create a “pond” where players with, for example, less than 500 matches in the game mode would play against each other. And only then thrown into standart random pool.
