I bought a DLC “Two Fronts” pack through steam, but it put it on the wrong account does anybody know if it can be transferred bc its a lot of money just gone bc i didnt even knew i had a steam account (i thought the one i bought it for was the linked one)i dont care about a refund bc i know that isnt possible but i want the stuff transferred to this account.

Sadly this doesnt work, Steam doesnt want to help me and Gaijin isn’t responding. Just threw away my hard worked 35 euro …
What ‘state’ is your steam war thunder account in? Did you create it erroneously like so many have done, or have you actually played it?
I’d cite that if you can to steam and get that angle pushed. Then get a refund, and take that to the gaijin store.
The steam account it like a lvl 1.5 it seems so yea its just “brand new” but Steam is really stubborn in it thye just keep replying that they can transfer stuff/ refund it …
I’d keep at it and plead to them a bit more. Possibly aim to clear that account out, and link your gaijin account to your steam account correctly so it can be applied that way.
That is if they still allow the gaijin accounts to be linked to steam accounts here.
Yeah i tried but saw on gaijins site that they dont do steam links anymore wil wait 1 week to see if gaijin responds and else i’ll start over i guess…
Gutted… I myself linked years back as soon as it was brought in…
Hope they open the migration for consoles and the linking of steam accounts again at some stage.
It might take support a couple of days to respond from what i have seen other say.
despite me signing out my right to refund i have gotten a refund multiple times from gaijin but i didn’t do the purchase through steam.
I was thinking that if pressed, and pleaded with Steam that Steam would have the same mentality. I’d really think they’d do it if nudged and winked at the right way…
