Buk M3 minimal engagement distance

The Buk-M3 in-game appears to prevent engagements inside published specs. Public technical summaries list the Buk-M3 engagement envelope as 2.5–70 km (minimum 2.5 km / 2,500 m).
Its just unrealistic that a 700kg missile just does that hard maneuvers out of the tube and irl theres also a safety fuse activation range so the missile doesnt blow up the launcher

Don’t worry, it hit the threshold for the safety fuse about the 3rd full spin! lol

sigh

apparently 1 update without russia having the best AA in the game is too long

They don’t want to get their mainland assets seized like the other tank game did.

Just gib it proxy delay for few km…

or just give it its SARH seeker head, and a realistic fin AOA/thurst vectoring angle

Then let it be and, why “or”

i think they messed up something with its TVC values in the newer dev server. it wasn’t like this in the previous dev servers. btw it weighs around 580kg and it has decent maneuverability irl. https://youtu.be/ulYEWf0NdhE?si=AfCXZabcrVZn_WEh&t=23

Yeah i cant wait for that bias trash lol to bad its not good in real life

wdym its not good in real life ?

Believe he’s referring to the ongoing conflict where a lot of the RU Tech has shown its short comings for the rest of the world to see.

Might even be referring to the video where the older BUK nuked itself when the missile turned back around and smoked it launch vehicle.

irrelevant to buk m3. missile nuking itself is not new.

Im guessing you didn’t see the video, when the missile launched, turned back around and hit the operator vehicle

But it is ARH it uses Slanets Seeker
