Guess it can be countered when you watch the contact list, simply switch off radar and move off.
That’s not a counter, that’s just you tucking your tail and running away from a fight.
Enemy would still be able to fire at your team while you’re hiding with your radar turned off.
not really, more modern ones (at least HARM variants) have secondary seekers for terminal approach and IOG so they can still track if the radar gets turned off, and if the target starts to move when the get close
we aint getting that modelled 9/10, as its an MMW Seeker.

I dont realise because i use BUK actively, and i see that same bugs are still there, same bugs since pantsir was added. And still call BUK best AA because its “RUsSiAN”, i still see IRIS T clapping everything and multipathing doesn’t work, and you can notch it once in 30 times it fires a missile on you.

So pale even that the BUK radar vehicle got a K/D of 0.88 and a K/S of 0.77. it doesnt even get a single kill per spawn. The iris t stands at 1.5 and 1.9 respectively. about 2 kills per spawn. The CLAWS that has exclusively been playing top tier due to being the top spaa for usa in december has 0.98 and 1.15 (performing way better even though facing the most opressive cas in russia and not with it on its side). The SAMPT for france has 1.1 and 1.4.
If youre looking for a worse performing spaa in that environment youll find that only in the TAN-SAM kai and the Type 03 with similar stats.
Easy to see how the BUK is just outshining everything.

That’s a big skill issue
i have used it in a couple of matches, and it is unbelievable good, hitting things that it shouldnt, but its still a radar missile, it can be notched quiet easily or avoided.
Major skill issue, the missiles arent great, but the radar is by far the best out of all the new SPAA’s

According to Statshark you’ve never played BUK.
He also doesnt play or own a single rank 7 or rank 8 Vehicle of any nation besides russia or USA. Pretty hard to know how good the SAMP_T or Type 03’s radar (which are miles better than the BUKs buggy slow af mess of a radar) are without having ever used them. Its amazing how 80% of the people having absolutely wild takes on the forum completely seem to forget or disregard that stats, profile cards and most played vehicles are publicly visible.
Let me guess, he played them all on his friend’s account and has around 23 K/D in BUK.

Sure, its possible, would be against TOS but anyways doesnt explain the played vehicles on the account with his forum name (or rather the lack of the ones he’s comparing the BUK to) and the discrepancies and questions that arise. As well as the publicly available stats for all players that played any of these spaa vehicles that i posted (Which are directly copied from statsharks december stats) and the massive efficiency differences (But those surely dont have anything to do with the radar, its the missile, which he claims isn’t great but is actually among the best for medium to long range engagements)

Just because you’re bad at using something doesnt it automaticly mean it’s a bad thing
It was more of a joke as I’ve seen plenty of people trying to use that to excuse the lack of playtime on their own account. At that point you just know they’re bullshitting you.
Most of this forum consists of yapping made by below average players thinking the game is broken.

You shouldnt be talking with medicore stats aswell, but like i said, stats doesnt matter.
This was about the BUK being better than what you think, which is it, you shouldnt change the subject, when its one of the best Anti-AA, like i said, “Just Because you suck with it, doesn’t it mean that its bad.”
