Theyre both an issue. However, the Buk-3 gets to keep launching missiles after the control unit is killed. I don’t believe any other multi-unit SPAA can do that.

Big agree. They certainly didnt need a 70km reaching option. Nerf it down to 40km. Or go with an older model.

Its not a matter of seeing it, unless the radar on the control unit can only see out to a shorter distance. Which I highly doubt. If the radar can pick you out at 50km and you have a 70km missile, then sight/render distance doesn’t matter.

if the missile cant get the range it is more or less that waht you want, besides 40km is more than enough for the ground map.

Either give everyone else a comparable missile/system, or nerf the missile/change the model to the M2 which is 3km-45km.

rn germany is drastically overperforming… irist is by far the best missile system and has the best tanks, the buk3 wont change the fact that germany has the best tanks but only assures that the ussr has maybe a similar caliber spaa.

The IRIS-T only has a range of 40km. The M3 is 70km. Thats 10km away from doubling the range. Your argument is really because Germany “might” have a better tank and decent SPAA, Russia should get a far better SPAA? Okay, since the Abrams are worse than both, lets give the US their MIM-104 Patriot Missile System (PAC 2 Early) with a range range of 3km-160km. That way theyre competitive.

I pretty much said it doesnt matter if its 40 or 70km missile, besides the close range combat against jets is atleast as important right now as long range missiles/interceptions.
But it does matter because GRB doesn’t just have ground vehicles. They also have planes and hey guess what, the already stupidly OP Kh-38 is getting a range buff to what? 70km. So lets let the already OP missile and its throwers sit further back, where more than half the SPAAs won’t be able to reach. Hope this update is coming with a line of code that never lets Russia get France or Italy on their team. Because they no one will be able to stop the Kh-38 spam.

yep yep kh38 might be the best missile rn, but it will get nerfed a bit I think. and if its like any other fox3 its not harder to dodge than the IR guided irist…
