I think Merkava Mk.4 isn’t struggling because of firepower . It already gets the M 338 with 611 mm of pen, which easily beats out tanks like the Leclerc or T-90M. The firepower is perfectly fine.
If anything is holding the Mk.4 back, it’s the underperforming armor modeling.

M426 is a 105 mm round, the Merkava Mk.4s use a 120 mm gun. There also isn’t a better round available that I know of, M338 is the best Israel has right now.

You’re the first person to mention the LAHAT in this thread, it also wouldn’t be ‘better’ per-se, it’d be nice to have though.
sorry my fault, its really a 105 only thing, yeah but i bet gaijin wont buff the armor. I mean 12.7. for mk4m its a joke honestly, and it even gets harder with next update.

M426 its a 105mm sabot round. Mekava 3-4 use 120mm.
I’m sorry to hear it, I was looking forward to getting the Merkava Mk4 one day. I do know it has a ton of issues with it though, hopefully they fix it, though I doubt they will any time soon.
