I could have sworn it was the normal one bc I thought I saw it before the S.2 even out. Maybe I have it wrong but that’s what I think he did it with
Buc S2 was released 6 months before the Buc S1
and I think this is what you are talking about:
Nvm I see what happened, I confused the S.2 with the S.2B. If you can’t tell I don’t play the British air tree and didn’t know there were 3 variants lmao. In that case it likely was the S.2, but couldn’t tell ya
Edit: yep that’s the vid and that’s the guy, was the S.2 after all
Yeah, video attached above of the guy I think you are talking about, its the Buc S2 and yeah, very good chance it is.
Buc S2 I think is “fine” at 9.3, could be 9.0, but has the CMs and engine performance to keep it in the fight at 9.3 till a decompression. Buc S2B I think could be 10.3 quite happily, but again, is okay at 10.7 (very good in ASB), can always get a few other buffs like a Phimat pod.
But its the Buc S1 which is rather sad imo, with the much weaker engines, smaller bomb load, no CMs, etc etc.
Belongs at 8.3 with Canberra, honestly maybe even 8.0 because at least Can B Mk.2 has 2x 4000 lbs for trolling in GRB and Can BI has guns and honestly isn’t horrible with flight characteristics.
Also speaking of the Canberra id love to see the late variants like the BI Mk.8 and the B-57G. B-57G would be really nice because it gets early FLIR and LLTV and like 4x Paveway Is.
I dont necessarily have an issue with it being at 8.7, as it is a little faster than the Canberras but the lack of airspawn is really dumb. The main reason they removed airspawn from a load of things was because it was giving “fighters” a major advantage. But for something completely unarmed like the Buc S1 its really silly, especially when you do have things that get abused as fighters all the time still at rank V.
You see, giving specific vehicles air spawn would require a modicum of effort… Theres your answer.
