You do realize the ZT3A2 and AFT09 have similarly powerful ATGMs and thermals at that BR range, right?

ZT3 is also slow, made of tinfoil, has no spall liner and is limited to ATGMs only with less performance than the AT-14. AFT09 has worse thermals and also no gun or spall liner.

You don’t need a gun when you have 3 or 4 1200mm penning tandem ATGMs ready to go lol
The quality of the thermals doesn’t really matter and the AFT09 can just sit behind cover with only the launcher peeking out, so the lack of a spall liner is a moot point
Also, the spall liner isn’t gonna do much for the BTR either due to its crew layout

Which is a disadvantage to having both a gun and missiles. Vehicles with both are far more dangerous than vehicles with one or the other.

You do realize that these tanks can’t always pick their engagement and the versatility of a gun with 900m/s shell velocity is extremely useful in dealing with light armor rushing you down?
Typical players who don’t bother to even touch ATGM only vehicles that don’t know about their weaknesses.
