Experienced in the Mig-29 and Mig-23 MLA (both for Germany). When locked on to a target with radar in these aircraft (unknown which others are affected), the HUD on the cockpit sights will shift down and to the left below the viewable area, rendering it useless. Unlocking the target will reset the position to normal.
