@Gunjob, a R-Darter mounted on a Brazilian F-5EM. Can you identify this rail? It’s definitely not the same one used on the Cheetah.

Yeah it’s just the Rafael rail I’ve seen derby mounted on. We have confirmation R-Darter/Derby is compatible with CRL so it’s no worries we will still be able to get BOL with R-Darter.

R-Darter? Not that I know of. Wing tips are IR missile only on Gripen as far as I know.
So max load would be 2x Sidewinder and 4x R-Darter with 4x CRL/BOL.
huum, I thought that since it can carry Python 4s there it would carry Derby/Darter too…
Depends if Derby/R-Darter uses the LAU-7 style mounting and if the stores management system can support those missiles there. Physical compatibility is one thing, but the SMS knowing what to do with a weapon on a hard point is a whole other thing.
Evidence available publically only had IR missiles on the wing tips so you’d need evidence of ARH missiles mounted there for any change.

Does red top have a prox fuse?
Because I think it needs a bit of a tweak. I keep getting hits with the red top against small fighters. I think the prox fuse is triggering too early or something.
I’ll try and get a good clip, but has anyone else noticed this or is it just me

Proxy fuse is set to 12m according to the sheet
Honestly now the Red Top changes are live I can say they’re a pretty nice buff
The range is SO MUCH better, the manuverability is worse but the gimble limit means you can still lead the missile lots so it isnt a big deal
The missile actually stays fast for a long time now, allowing it to glide to targets. Testing in the test drive the missiles range is now around:
Sea Level: ~2.5-3km
5km Alt: ~4km
yeaaaah I just noticed it. Pretty much only in the side aspect though. Frontally not much issues
@Gunjob is there any news on the seeker fov for the Redtop? I remember I think it was @Flame2512 who reported it being to big currently and should have a FoV of 1 or has that been fixed and it’s an after launch FoV

Yep, I think it might be the missile just slightly missing. But I’ve had a few that looked like it would have been a direct hit
I’ll have a look in the replay later, but I think it’s over leading and then triggering on wingtips or something
