Depends on your definition of mount. Technically EF2K can/can’t, but otherwise basically anything that can mount typical British Mk13 bombs
You mean potentially?
Buccaneer S.1 (used for trials) and S.2/S.2B (used operationally)
Phantom FG.1 and FGR.2
Jaguar GR.1 and GR.1A**
Jaguar IS
Tornado GR.1** and GR.4 (but replacing RBL-755 with Brimstone was sought as an aspect of the GR.4 upgrade)
Harrier GR.3, GR.7**, T.10**
Sea Harrier FRS.1, FA.2
Hawk T.1A (technically Hawk 200 as well, but I don’t know that it was ever done other than a mockup)
CF-188A
Strikemaster - though New Zealand didn’t use them
Was fit-checked on Typhoon but retired before FGR.4
Hunter FGA.9 is a maybe. It was used by Oman on theirs, but not Rhodesian Hunters specifically - Zimbabwe however did use BL755 on their Hawk Mk.60s.
Hunter wasn’t in frontline service with the RAF/RN when BL755 was introduced, so the F.6 is less likely.
MiG-21 Bison is a maybe as well. Yugoslavia carried them on MiG-21s and India operated both MiG-21 and BL-755. Though out of their Soviet stuff I’ve only seen claims MiG-27 carried BL-755
** - also equipped American CBU-87 cluster bombs.
Ooooh thats quite the list, equipping them on the banana or harrier will be quite fun
BL755 is in. Phantoms, Jags, Harriers, and Tornado GRs
Including F-4J(UK) even though they probably shouldn’t have them. Not sure Harrier GR.1 should either, if we were converting to GR.3 before the BL-755 was in service (1973), but there might be overlap NVM Harrier GR.1 is a go in the mid-70s - GR.3 conversion was just starting around the same time
It’s on Hawk 200 but not T.1A, and on Bucc S.2B but not S.1 and S.2. Not on CF-188A yet either. None for Strikemaster Mk.88
No CBU-87s for Jag, Harrier, or Tornado yet
Mmmmmm. War crimes with a side of civilian casualties.
yo. 😳
So bug reports in order then
Some tickets to try and get BL755 on the Navy Buccs:
S.1 Community Bug Reporting System
S.2 Community Bug Reporting System
Hell yeah, cluster bombs!
Also, what with modifications now affecting BR’s, chances of 9L’s on Brit phantoms?
The Jaag also looks quite formidable with 8 of them equipped
Now if only we could trade AIM-9Ls for a nastier BR, it would be complete
Its a shame theres only circumstantial evidence for the Omanis potentially being able to mount them (as they are believed to have gotten it before the Hunters were even there given that an Omani Strikemaster was at shows with the bombs prior to the Hunter adoption). IIRC there are things for Jet Provosts carrying them though.
If anyone has any actual evidence it would likely help.
1973 airshow.

adoption ~1975 for Hunters with BL-755 listed as mounted.
Mentions Oman as 1 of the potential 2 middle east nations.

Do we think this enough for gaijin to give the strikemaster BL-755 or is it too “circumstantial”?

also, anyone know what the red clusterbombs here are? Just says 65kg cluster bomb.
S1 is such a dismall aircraft in ARB, it really needs it
So the Hunter got a Blue note
Hawker Hunter Blue note much too quiet relative to engine
It’s too quiet, it should be able to drown out the engine sound itself, but doesn’t in game
Well, a man went in with his hopium.

My strikemaster h(/c)ope post.
Deffo sucks that so little real hard evidence exists showing Strikemaster meme armaments and the like.
Oh they most definitely had BL755 for Hunter

and almost certainly Jaguar too - we pretty much included BL755 as a package deal with Jaguar for other countries like India and Nigeria
Ironically the only pic I have of a Jag in Oman with BL755 is actually one of our GR.3s dropping it in the Omani desert on an edition of Ex. Magic Carpet
Sadly not found anything concrete for Strikemaster yet.
Yeah it do be a harsh mistress to find things about ha. I only got lucky with the guns/cannons by sheer coincidence in finding those.
