only diff between armat and the AS.37´s rn is coverage nothing else
So, what is everyone thinking with optimal loadouts for the Buc S2B running ARM?
(Ignoring the bands and just going with which ever ARM is best for the match)
1x AS.37 + 2x AJ-168 (with 4x Mk13s)
or
2x AS.37s + 1x AJ-168 (with 4x Mk13s)
I’ll probably do 1 ARM cause it’s a lot less practical that the AJs
probably end up being 2x AJ and 1x AS
There normally isnt that many SPAAs up, and if there is, you can try to AJ them, or land and repeat
Maybe 2x AS and 1x AJ if i take 2 band ranges of AS out, if i know there is a lot of SPAA
Was thinking the same, Against something like a 2S6, use the ARM to locate it, fire it off, follow up with the AJ168, and go defensive. Then the 2S6 has to deal with 2 different missiles coming in from potentially 2 different directions, if the ARM looks to be getting through, switch the MITL to something else nearby.
given than the AS.37s cant be used against OSAs, then it also maximises the missiles available for them too
They really need to add the ability to swap loadouts by landing.
I would make it so that you have to pay for the full SP cost of the new loadout, regardless of whether its higher or lower though. and you dont get what you spent on the current one back.
Stops it being abused
If they have J band you could, just do a bit of wild weaselling and keep them locked onto you
Cant see either H or J according to the spreadsheet
B1: E, F
B2: C, D
B3: I
We’ll have to see if that is followed 1 to 1 in-game. Datamine doesnt list the bands, just the names
- AS 37 (C)
- AS 37 (L)
- AS 37 (S)
thats a bit annoying then,

What do you mean?
I think he means wether or not it changes before it becomes available for use by players
IRL the AMRAT has a new motor and a wideband seeker.
In game the seeker and max flight time is different, and that’s about it
That’s already a thing in air rb, is it not in ground?
in ground you just don’t get a death credited
Thank you SP system for making things weird
Atleast unless they fiddled with it without me noticing
Flames spread sheet Vs in-game.
It’s likely that is accurate, but there is every chance Gaijin will find differing sources. Wouldn’t be the first time
Nope, j out returns you to vehicle selection, even on the runway
I noticed this happening on Escalation whenever I wanted to switch from the small nuke to the big one despite having landed the small nuke plane on the airfield intact. Hopefully they can fix this in the future and just deduce the SP difference from your balance instead of forcing you to pay the full SP cost.
I assume it doesn’t happen on Air RB/Sim because planes don’t have a SP cost.
Yeah, you can swap all you like (though if last alive, it can trigger the match loosing thing in ARB)
Though in ASB I wish you could make custom loadouts in match
The fundamental flaw of the AS.37 is simply its slow subsonic flight speed.
While it is a welcome upgrade for the Buccaneer S.2B, the lengthy flight time lets enemy SPAA either shoot down the missile or shut off radar to break lock easily.
For the Tornado GR.1, PGM500 remain the more reliable option in most matches. It is disappointing that Gaijin still refuses to implement the ALARM for the Tornado GR.1
