British Weapon Systems - Technical data and discussion

if it got it Then it might be 8.3 material, even then its a stretch

1 at a time but not reducing the count by 2, it effectivity doubled the protection of the pod, I dont know why you’d want to drop more than 1 packet, and if you did, setup a continuous release toggle with the program you want set.

Would be nice to get the choice to change the amount per pop (not just for Phimat but for anything possible).

Because I was originally informed that it was meant to drop 2 at once, and that was the accurate thing, so single drop is quite the buff. Historical accuracy has to go both ways.

(and we get accused enough of burying things that would nerf our vehicles, whilst also wanting loads of buffs for them)

We need better customisation of countermeasures and bombs. Being able to drop specific amounts would be amazing.

We also need an option to switch the CM button from being a single tap to press & hold.

That way, you can just dump CMs without having to faff at all with periodic release or spamming the key (Notable accessibility feature too)

Couple with being able to:

  • Configure MAWS patterns
  • Independent Keybinds for Periodic Flares or Chaff deployment
  • Configure CM size, not just type and amount.

etc etc

CMs need a good overhaul, and thats without mentioning the BOL in the room.

I really hope ALARM gets included onto the Tornado F.3 arsenal. I expect it to be carried on the wing pylons the same way as the GR.4 (Never came to fruition but a few F.3s were ALARM capable, nicknamed “Super Tornado” or “EF.3”).

Along the subject of Tornadoes, the F.3 and GR.1+4 variants are missing the Hindenburg drop tanks that only the F.3 late carries currently.

Unforatuenly the Tornado can only carry two ALARM missiles under the fuselage, which blocks you from carrying BVR missiles. It can’t carry them on the wing pylons.

Yeah, this is really annoying. They are right there, on the same platform.

Yeah it does sacrifice BVR capability… Though that’s an option should the need arise. Then again, ground battles don’t allow you to change loadout after spawning…
Maybe we could just get Tornados with uprated engines instead? They were modified to increase thrust at the cost of the lifespan of the engines as they ran much hotter

That is combat thrust that is only modeled on the Mig-21Bis and I think one of the Mig-29s.

We’ve been arguing for it on the Tonkas for years. Especially after the FM nerfs

What is the point of Mk.II AP rockets? Stats wise, they’re completely identical to the Mk.I. I was hoping the slightly elongated nose of the Mk.II would have at least have an impact on ballistics or ricochet chances, but nope…
Possible bug?

Does anyone actually even use the hawks for cas or arb in general?

i feel like an earlier versions of the hawk would’ve been a better addition.

I tried spading the 200, but got bored in seconds.

It might be fine in ASB, but unplayable, especially stock. In ARB. (I mostly blame compression here though, but there are a number of reports that would help) But ASB is so boring these days that I cant be bothered to try it at the moment.

the RDA is apparently a little better in ARB when you get Skyflash, but I cant be bothered with that either. In ASB it will be DOA vs the Mig-23MLDs.

In GRB. I just prefer the Jaguar GR1A with GBU-12s or the Buc S2B with MITL AJ-168s. I dont really see the point of trying to make the Hawk 200 work with TV guided AGM-65Bs when the A-10A Late gets 6x AGM-65Ds at the same BR and the Hawk 209 gets 4x AGM-65G at the same BR.

I really really dont see the point of uptiering the ground line-up to 11.0 jsut to use the RDA which is again, a downgrade to the 10.7 Hawk 209.

I think a 25mm ADEN only Hawk 100 or something around 9.0 would actually be quite good fun.

Its stated that the development enhanced the penetration, https://www.bulletpicker.com/pdf/OP-1665.pdf#page=315, page 317

Some more info for the AP Mk.II called A.P. No.1 Mk.2, https://www.bulletpicker.com/pdf/AP-2802-Vol1.pdf, PDF page 103

Compared to other aircraft at 10.7 it just feels lacklustre, especially it being at 10.7 it’s constant uptiers.

Its boring and just disappointing tbh, especially after waiting years for it.

Yeah.

In GRB

With the Hunter F58 at 9.7 with 2x AGM-65B, I think the Hawk 200 should actually be around 10.0. 9Ls get tricky, but I think that shouldnt be the deciding factor here. At worse it should be 10.3

Hawk 200 RDA should drop down to 10.7 and get AGM-65Ds or Gs, bringing it on par with the Hawk 209 already at 10.7.

In ARB…

They are both stuck.

4x 9Ls wont go below 10.7 and the PD + Skyflash DF probably wont go below 11.3. Maybe argue for 11.0, but I doubt it would happen.

Yeah, after waiting so long, they added some very weak versions that are underperforming loads and just the called it a day. Real shame

I adore using them for CAS

I think we still get hit kinematically even with proper CM setup, fine-tuning

I just made a macro for the mouse in the logitech software. My flares key does that. Tap for a burst or hold to spam.

I can dump flares so fast the game stops rendering them haha.
