Has anyone who’s driven the Challenger 2 after this update noticed that reverse acceleration feels noticeably slower than before (not comparing it to the bugged state), plus there’s a distinct jitter/stuttering sensation both when moving forward and reversing?
when was the last time you played the challies?
in march of this year the Challenger 2 had its gear ratios altered, increasing its reverse speed but making the top end acceleration in reverse worse, but better at low end
the jerkiness could also just be the close spacing of the gears at low speed (in part due to torque converter modelling for gears 1 and 2 (and both reverse gears), and a poor crew training making it change too slowly
(MFW “Automatic” gearboxes are modelled as manuals)
But they are manual. Just have a lil guy in them instead of the crew doing the work.
(This is joke)
That FM going Supersonic?
I’m sure with effort a vaguely harrier shaped thingo could go supersonic.

I bet this thing cannot turn reliably.
As a fan of both mig 25 and 31, turning is for cowards.
I turned into one, after 1000 games of Phantom FGR.2

p.1154
really the only attempt at getting a harrier esc frame going mach
Either way, you gonna hear ''lego sound when this thing turns in mach.
no cos this was designed to go mach, was cancelled unfortunately
only part of the airframe, full engine, parts of the cockpit and wings were made before it was panned
Is very sad that it was cancelled. It looks proper.
would have had redtop or firestreak missiles with the RN version having 4
only instance of the engines being used on a proper airframe was a stack harrier

I’m that one spoiled child when parents gift me a toyota.
Well we got the Scimi.
Now the question is, if gaijin will add the experimental APFSDS by Rheinmetall or if they will require documents to prove its existence first. Anyone got those at hand to shove at the devs? XD
Also hope gaijin let us take the addon armour off for reduced weight like other tanks.
Surprised it’s not the Sabre since that was what was put in the files shortly after the event was announced. A red herring I guess
Thankful they seem to have had the sense to close the defunct night sight cover on this one after modelling it open initially.
