Where do the ingame AI.24 stage2 range values come from?

“hprf”: {
_______“sideLobesAttenuation”: -20.0,
_______“power”: 2000.0,
_______“band”: 8,
_______“rcs”: 5.0,
_______“range”: 125000.0,

125km [67 NM] for a 5m^2 target is much longer than than the stage 1s range values(~45 Nm [83km] for a 5m² target)

I believe you will find that range graph is for the Z-list version of AI.24 which, while marginally better than the previous prototypes, had terrible performance problems and quite literally barely worked IRL. The Stage 2G radar we have in game performed vastly better than the early versions of AI.24 (basically anything before Stage 2), which were infamously terrible.

@Gunjob hello, I remember you posted a diagram about the Terma pod for Tornado where it interacts with the RWR. Can you find it again?

Thanks, I found this controller in the Terma catalog… But here’s the question - can it work with the F-16 RWR and PIDS+?

If it has ALQ-213A as part of its install yes.

They wrote about ALQ-213, not 213A

Spoiler

Same thing. Difference in names/designations is down to different hardware arrangements depending on how the customer wants the control unit and peripherals installed in a particular airframe. Functionally they’re all the same capability

ALQ-213_DAC

European F-16s for example, have this setup

Can you send link?

.pdf specifically mentions that there is a US (ITAR restricted) and Danish (non-ITAR) version
Can see footage of a Danish F-16A MLU with the EWMU installed in the cockpit here:

Also a document about installing it on F-16C, A-10 etc. to replace the old EW controller

Unless I am misreading it looks like the AS-90 RoF has been corrected/buffed? Good news there.

Vickers GBT 155 however yet to be touched.

in what way was the as90s rof buffed

they look to still be untouched in that way…

They should be getting the same reload rates.

should

if the GBT doesnt it really needs to be lower than AS90

When I looked at the AS 90 prior it was based on crew skill though now at least for the initial rack is working on an autoloading rate of fire? (EG it would show 5.4 seconds based on crew with 5 seconds aced, now its just showing a flat 5 seconds for me)

oh yeah my bad yes they did change that on the AS90 its just 5 second no matter what now for the ready rack atleast

ooof looks like they’ve modelled the entire indirect fire control computer as FCS on the AS90

man how did they cook so good on the as90 but cook so bad on the premium

Yeah is very weird, usually other way around lmao.

Updated Blenheim Mk.IV model from the dev server.

Spoiler

Has a later war appearance compared to the previous one, with exhaust flame suppressors, and Mediterranean-theatre camo rather than the previous day-bomber scheme

Also removed the incorrect porthole window from the starboard side. Something that was a feature of Bolingbrokes, not Blenheims

Hopefully we get other variants like a Mk.IVF or Mk.Is in future if the base model is being worked on like this.
But might just be they wanted to add some Blenheims for Finland, and the existing model looked bad

Is the AS90 supposed to be autoloaded? I was under the impression only the first 2 shots should be
