Yeah, they really are
maybe turn off POI and turn on laser before dropping help?
I really wish they add adjacent bracket showing which guidance mode our munitions is on so we don’t have to fat fingers around the SMSV, IRST
Does stop one getting lost when you do a multi target release, but I think most of the current weapons guidance failures in NE are down to latency issues.
Ah wait did you just solve the aiming point bug? That makes perfect sense, PoI acts as another aiming point
Explains also why I have two bombs going for one target
(Since it was also the PoI…)
Yeah when doing aiming points I switch the radar to ACM/SRC or turn it off so the POI isn’t slaved, I remove any POI then do a multi release.
Not sure if its relivant but anyone else having problems with the laser turning on by itself. Keep trying to get off a couple gps bombs but i keep finding my laser has been turned on when i definitely have the setting turned off. Makes it a real pain in the ass as it basically turns them into dumb bombs as im pretty sure gps turns off and it goes to iog even if the point never moved.
you sure you don’t have 2 controls set to 1 bind?
I have laser set to 1 so i did think i was simply fat fingering it but i watched the laser turn itself on when i was only using my mouse turning away.
Maybe you used something guided through lazer, I usually get this issue while using brimstones
Brimstone → press lock(while POI still on) at 3rd view → laser turned on
Brimstone → TGP view → press lock → Laser turned on but slaved to TGP POI
With the announcement of different battle ratings based on weaponry coming to the game, gaijin slipped in a photo of the Wildcat.
I think its quite likely it will be one of the first vehicles to recieve the seperate weaponry based BR ratings, when using Martlets vs Spike NLOS / Sea Venoms. If this does happen, it would be an amazing change.
i dont think so
Insightful
I still don’t get why the hawk 200 got moved to 11.3 and the Marauder S2B to 11.7. It’s put me off running my old 10.7 lineup. The upside is my old 11.7 lineup is still viable. It’s a shame the AH Mk.1 got its BR rolled back up after being lowered last time.
Because of the loadout based BR
So it looks like we probably won’t see either of these two planes in Ground RB anymore. With their BR bumped up, they’ve become a bit underwhelming.I have no idea how the Hawk 200 is supposed to fight Pantsirs when it gets uptiered to 12.3.
They could go down to 11.0 if we play our cards right
I do reckon it will be in the first wave of helis to get it.
The question is what else might get it.
Im doubting we’ll get things like 9Ms on the F3, or Stock BRs for things like the SHars and GR4 (9Gs and 9Ls respectively)
I think things like the Hunter F6 and Harrier GR.1 would be relatively good contenders as they have their BR hugely inflated by their missiles
Yeah, those would be good options too.
But based upon Smins comment
I doubt we’ll see anything below 12.0 getting split BRs anytime soon.
So some possible early options:
- F3 getting 9Ms (or F3 Late getting a BR for no AMRAAM)
- FGR2 getting 9Ls
Then Stock loadouts on aircraft getting their own BR:
- FRS1e / FRS1 (Just 9Gs)
- Tornado GR4 (Just 9Ls)
Then we’ll have to see if/what new weapons are added. Like ASRAAM or Meteor for the Typhoons.
Being able to opt not to take the AMRAAMS on the Sea Harrier FA.2 and being able to run a 4 x 9M loadout at 12.0-12.3 would be quite nice
