Yeah… probably
While gaijin copes over the L27 reports, I the datamines have been released so here are some of the UK ground changes that weren’t in the changelogs (some may have been):
(BUFF?) CAMM-ER: Orientation phase of launch went from always occuring at 5 meters to now occuring at 5 - 70 meters depending on target distance (May assist a bit with long range shots, as terrain will be less of an issue)
(BUFF) Challenger 2 (All) and CR3TD: New trunnion model added, this provides a general increase in mantlet protection from around 360mm to now around 460mm on the lower/middle part of the mantlet. The mantlet can now stop 3BM42 in areas, which it previously couldn’t.
(BUFF) Challenger 2 (Base variant): Armour hole around turret ring fixed, it shouldn’t incorrectly overpressure from low caliber HE there anymore.
(BUFF) Churchill Mk.7: Gun depression buffed from 12 to 12.5 degress.
(BUFF) CVR-T Striker and Scimitar: Top forward and reverse speeds increased from ~81kph to ~87kph.
(VISUAL) Warrior: Shell ejection animations added.
(BUFF) 75 mm Q.F. Mk. V Cannon: APHE shell added, we all knew this, but they have also quite significantly reduced the drag coefficient too from 0.5 → 0.379 which will increase the shells penetration at range.
The 0 meter pen is a tiny bit better, but at 1000 meters the pen has gone from 78mm to 84mm and at 2000 meters from 59mm to 68mm. The shell also obviously maintains velocity better as it travels, making long range shots a bit easier.
(BUFF) Centurion Mk.10: The roof MG now functions, previously it was purely there to look nice
(BUFF) AS90: Neutral steering added
(NERF) AS90: Shell velocity reduced from 940 m/s to 810 m/s
(NERF) Vickers GBT 155: Shell velocity reduced from 940 m/s to 684 m/s
(Air and Naval changes not included)
Wait, 500lb gbu? Why havent i heard about this.
You guys have been missing out, you just lock the ground near a guy whos stationary and the he will carry the rest. Also, if it got close enough it would end up latching onto the tank anyway as long as they didnt move untill the missile got within 4km.
Jaguar and Tonka are getting 500lb GBUs GBU-12s
5x on the Tonka, so a minor buff there too, instead of the current 4.

Btw, if you use this specific configuration on the Tornado Gr.4 you can take 9 x Brimstones and 5 x ALARMs at the same time with a TGP.
Pretty crazy, if they add the outer pylons you could run:
2 x AIM-9M
5 x ALARM
9 x Brimstones
1 x TGP
Didnt think you would be able to mount one in the middle alongside other weapons.
Now if only brimstones were remotely reliable enough to warrant this set up
Now we really need the Mk13 buff or the ability to run PW4s without a Tpod

This + the outer pylons would be great for ARB/ASB
Alternatively: Not unholy iog drift on brimstones. Even more thingos.
Even with IRL drift, they will still wont be usable as a spammable weapon until we get proper Brimstones.
but at that br tornado almost has no chance to use brimstones
But just imagine 7x ALARM + 12x FnF Brimstones. Maybe some time in the 2040s.
It does fit there, i’m not sure if it will stay there on live though
You need to use a very specific loadout setup to use it there with the Brimstones
Because of air defence systems, which you now have the ALARMs to deal with
ORRRR give alarm to the GR1 (or downtier the gr4 to 11.7 in ground)
Yeah…
British RAF holiday event reward: Tornado with Functional Brimstones but no ALARM
any one know something about the zoom of aj 168?
currently it’s so small
