British Weapon Systems - Technical data and discussion

Any yall able to help me out with evidence that the G6 has a roof top MG? A quick google comes up with a few of what looks like a UAE variant from the IDEX 2013 military exhibition, with some sort of .50 cal, and a couple of blurry images of one with that looks to be a 7.62 on the roof but I don’t know whether this in enough for gaijin to do something about it.

The state of the G6 is pretty dire at the moment as it lacks any way to remove small barriers such as fences and bushes that could trigger the fuse on the round. And due to its wheeled base you have to take 30 seconds (the reverse is just awful) to relocate yourself to shoot at an enemy anything more than 45 degrees off front dead center. Not to mention the time it takes to get up to a decent speed due to the way gaijins implemented traction for wheeled vehicles. Imo its worse than the 6.0 paladins and should probably be at around that br too.

It is already passed to developers.

Am I mistaken, or does Starstreak now require a direct hit again?

Starstreak has always been direct hit as it has minimal explosives in the darts.

I thought they gave it a proximity fuze.

Nope, never had it.

*bug report missing weaponry that is already in game. Like mine and the M.C bombs that are already in game.

should have expected that lol

Surpisingly the report has been passed as a suggestion, maybe they changed the bug report requirements?

500mm atgm/AA missiles… The Stormer would become a baby ADATS XD.

Yep lol, and you’d have access to up to 32 with the new ammo crates.

I suspect it would uptier the Stormer to around 11.0, however, Britain now has plenty of 10.3 SPAA to fill its gap.

We will probably see them added when the Wildcat is added, which can carry 20.

Tho it would not be 500, but ~600

It’d rather a 2nd vehicle tbh, keep the best 10.3 AA where it is and then have a modernised model one at a higher BR with new missile options. That way you don’t rob one BR to pay another.

Ahh well even better, i just flicked through the report that said 500 :)

I only said 500 as I was unsure how thick those plates are and he said “around 6”

They seem to be around 100mm each, so around 550-600 is probably more accurate

Either way it’s more than enough to deal with most vehicles.

Clearly means that Martlet and Wildcat will be coming next patch.

Martlet is interesting as it can be equipped with multiple different seeker heads iirc

Eeee, no. Not at this point.
There is only one warhead, blast frag/shaped, and “2” types of seeker, SALH seeker or no seeker at all (LOSBR only)

Rapier coming
