sweden has those cause they were tested and almost adopted, so there is a legitimate reason for them being there
The reason everyone is so annoyed is because well for starters if you want a T-90 go play the Russian Tree. The Brits, with the exception of boying T80s through Morocco in order to basically evaluate them, have never operated T series tanks nor been involved with their construction.
Furthermore, there is a whole load of unique vehicles that could’ve been added that make more sense to add (Vickers Mark 4, Challenger Falcon for example. there’s a post further up that has more examples if you want.) that actually relate to Britain in some way. For example, Britain produced the Vickers Mark 4, despite it not making production. The Challenger Falcon is, as the name suggests, a Challenger hull, built by Britain and modernised by Jordan.
and finally to seal the T90s coffin, it is not at all what we need and has no lineup. It’s another MBT but worse still, has no lineup. If it were 11.3 or 10.3 it’d have a lineup, but now it either drags/gets dragged up to 11.3/11.7. we’ve been begging for viable reconnaisance vehicles (just recently the Warrior CSP was passed to devs, take a look if you’re not sure what i mean)
To summarise, it has no lineup, there’s additions to Britain that are British made that have been missed, and there’s no need for another MBT that has no relation to Britain
They very much were not “almost adopted”. T-80U in fact wasn’t even part of the main competition where Leopard 2 TVM, M1A2 & Leclerc battled for which would become Sweden’s new MBT.
Looks cool and I want it, so no, the Bishma should come to the british TT.
Sweden never tested the havoc, they literally had a russian group test fly it infront of some members of the military, its the most bare bones connection, and with it the usa or british could literally get every nato thing made this last century XD
thank you that is funny
Yeah I’m not a fan of Swedens “we tested it so we get it”, weirdness, being a combined Norway/Finland/Sweden tree should have created enough options already surely. Would have suffered slightly in Helicopters but tbh everyone for years has suffered under KA-52s, that doesn’t mean everyone should suddenly have KA-52s. T-80 U is just silly, should have been Leopard 2A4NO or something, just give it DM33 rather than 23 and it’d even be the same BR.
Aye, whats more amusing is they went out of their way to give them meta squadron stuff, if they had done that for the brits we should have got an ozzie abrams that the yanks got or a potential Canadian leo, both offer things the challys don’t in terms of mobility, but instead we basically got another chally at a br with no support other than uptier, and worse reverse speed XD
LoL, no one in the UK cared at all, Gaijin made it a thing no one cared about, and its featured vehicle was the endless Challenger 2。
Gaijin only paints a rosy picture of the future in order to trick players into spending money and time in this “grave” for an invisible future, which is too sad
Although Gaijin is just giving away a T-90 tank that is not so good in the powerful Russian Federation, it is still a good complement to the poor British in Warthunder, at least better than the Challenger 2
It wouldn’t be better though if gaijin accurately modelled the Challenger 2.
Even though the Gaijin for us to turn a blind eye.
If this had been possible from the beginning we wouldn’t be here complaining about nothing. sad
I don’t like the turn this game is taking, the British TT doesn’t need a T-90 because it can’t do anything with a BR 10.7 tank, what other vehicles can it team up with? You will see that the next victim will be the French TT who will be delivered an Algerian T-90.
This is the biggest part people seem to be missing, it doesn’t add to the tree because there is no actual way to use it in a lineup without gimping the rest of your line up by up tiering them to the inevitable 11.3.
Exactly my point.
You do not have any sort of lineup. Either you blast your Chally Mk.3, Stormer, Vickers Mk.7 lineup into tiny shards when you get uptiered to 11.3 and 11.7 with your T-90, or you just don’t play it. that or you take it to 11.3/11.7 with a Chally 2 lineup and get blown apart anyway.
We were playing this game in the R&R thread. What could be added to the British based upon the now set prescedants
We got
Mig-29/Su-30, Pantsir (and Ka-52 was trialed) from India
F-16 from New Zeland (they nearly acquired it)
F-15 from Singapore
F-18 from Canada or Australia
Leopard from Canada
Abrams from Australia
Tor-M1 (and I think Mi-28) from Cyprus
Gripen from South Africa
Basically, name a vehicle and I think you could find a commonwealth connection for it.
US could also get Spanish Typhoons via South America association
I mean ground wise? Off the top of my head other than the ones you already mentioned:
MBT-2000 from Pakistan, Burma and Bangladesh. Leclercs from the UAE and Jordan. Leopard 2SG from Singapore. T-55s/Type 59s/Type 69s/T-72s from about 15 different countries.PT-91s from Malaya. M60A1/3s from Oman and a few others. Centauro’s amd Pantsirs from Oman. VT-4, Type 85 and T-80UD from Pakistan, VT-4 again from Nigera. BMP-3s and BTR-3s from UAE, M1A2 Abrams, M-84s, T-90MS, Desert Warrior, BMP-2s and 3s from Kuwait.
If you want to extend the plausibility a little further to shorter (or longer ago) occupations anything from Israel, 2S1s, 2S3s, Pantsirs, BMP-1s 2s and 3s from Iraq, and anything from West Germany, and finally of course anything from the US tech tree.
Seems the mantlet of CR1 was buffed too? At least according to what this guy says. Amusing how much better protected CR1 was than 2 in the roof/mantlet aspects, now it’s even more exaggerated. Not to complain of course, CR1 being modelled more realistically is splendid.

From this report: Community Bug Reporting System
Forget that, F-16 from Singapore or Jordan who actually operated it if we’re going to be that guy with Commonwealth. (Although, Commonwealth would be appreciated to bolster the air a little if you ask me.)
At least that’s a Warrior, and a good step up over the current one War Thunder-wise. I’d love to see it.
Yeah, dont get me wrong. I dont want any except maybe a few Export versions of the BAE Hawk. But it was a fun hole to dig gaijin into after the T-90
I would be happy if gaijin add Canadian or Australian F-18s or India’s Tejas for British.
