Vijayantas, the discount Abbot, (amx 13 lul), EX tank would be neat, the artillery they designed such as catapult, or the vijayanta GBT… bunch of other new vehicles they are working on too.

Gnat was designed by the UK but not really adopted, its main combat user is India and main producer really is India.
I also added to that for ground a bit. “nothingburger” to you, but plenty of people would enjoy having them and they would add to variation in the tree.

theres also the marut mk1bx with 2 bradner e300 engines giving a peak t/w of around 1.6 for a cold war era jet

we mostly used them as trainer aircraft but fighter configs were tested as a british owned aircraft.
the only variation it adds would be pretty abysmal designs that just clog up the grind. they wont offer anything exceedingly good at all

i have the entire british tree from passivley playing vehicles i like. I wouldnt want to have to waste time through more stuff to get to something good so oppose indian designs being in the british tree. give them to israel, thats the slop addition tree. 16 of the same tank and everything
Arguably 1 of the best tanks in the British tree/imo in the game accounting for balancing issues in BR exists due to Indian requirements, the Vickers mk1. If you look at the original concept design vs what was actually built and asked for/developed alongside India, its effectively a different tank. And imo, a top 5 premium also (Vijayanta, though many do not buy it because “just a vickers mk1”)
At least until gaijin decides to make rate of fire even more of a “balancing” thing and negating the Vickers/Vij IRL redic rate of fire uniqueness.
Seems/feels like a wee bit bias lol. “slop” is kinda telling.

the vickers MBT as a platform wasnt made for india specifically and the vijayanta acts as the same thing in game so is a waste of money due to this.
I try to keep my personal biases away from discussing the game so this isnt coming from grudges with the country itself. I just dont want soviet stuff in a tree where its very unneccessary and where the subtrees unique designs are nothing of actual notariety beyond being completley domestic
there is the funny shell tho and killing people with a Cum blast shell will never not be funny

He covers it grand in his series. It also has the glory of being a tank that kept Vickers in the green and also stuck it to the Germans by sniping their contract.
As for Vijayanta, it doesnt 100%, different improved ammo makes it superior, also premium bonus. Its improved versions would be great to see though.
If India didnt come to the table, the tank arguably wouldnt exist in this form if at all really.
Although I wouldn’t like the Su-30MKI in the british tree, this statement isn’t true. India has the Tejas which can carry an absurd variety of weaponry from so many nations, the Su-30MKI which can carry MICAs, the Mirage 2000H which can carry R-73s, etc etc
Saying India doesn’t have anything unique would be like saying that about Israel

No offence, but eeehh… All of these nations are in the Commonwealth. Historically, ANZAC and Canada have a closer relationship than India. isn’t it?
But we all know that Gaijin will never allow we Brits to have ANZAC or Canada as our sub-tt.
And India has already officially been announced as our sub-tt.
So, unlike other Brits here, I don’t dislike the addition of indian vehicles itself.
Just… some ‘direct Soviet C&P’ like T-72 or Su-7BMK need to wait a long time compared to getting a unique domestic vehicle like Arjun and Tejas.

Theres countless SA vehicles missing as well, theres a multitude of vickers tanks missing as well as the centurion mk 11, 12 and 13
Chieftain mk11 , mk900
And so on, must add yet more copy paste to trees…
If rhey added the unique stuff from India at least its unique, vut so far its all been copy paste
