On the next round of BR changes I think Iowa and Soyuz should go to 9.0 to preserve the 7.7’s? They simply have no chance across all nations.
Oh and on another note I really hope we get the Lions or G3 next update. Vanguard really wasn’t the right ship for that update (neither was Bismarck). Either that update needed to be Treaty ships or everyone needed their own behemoth.

Tbh if they had made it a treaty update japan wouldn’t have been able to get anything, they already have almost everything
They could’ve gotten the Nagato refit or Tosa, and that’s ignoring Amagi still would’ve been good. Russia would be the only nation left out, but the R class with improved rounds wouldn’t be as hopeless against Vanguard, Bismarck SoDak etc as for example Hood is against Iowa or Sovetsky Soyuz.

well i think i am going to wait before playing it much so i can have something to put the RP into but in the mean time i have the coastal tree to finish with only 1 and a half boats left
Out of interest, what planes do you bring to naval EC?
I bring the Sea Venom for its cool factor, and its carrier capabilities, and its radar. Backed up with the Catalina because torps and mines although if the Shackleton got it’s anti naval weapons, I’d bring that.
I have the Shackleton and on of the high tier props I have not updated my load out since they moved the br up as I can’t remember the last time I spawned a plane
Better armour might be nice I suppose.
Really our only hopes are G3 with 16.5" or N3 with that ridiculously powerful 18" (on that note if anyone can find proof we built the guns we can pull an A-150 Super Yamato), even the Lion with the Mk.3 and Mk.4 16" guns wouldn’t be a drastic upgrade in penetration.
And you dont even have usable shells yet
I love Vanguard, except when you face a Soyuz, then you are screwed. But you can easily fight all the 8.3s
well i bought the first AP shell i was not dealing with the SAP shell after it was nerfed to be worse than the 8 inch SAP of the county class
Ah… yeah that was a good call, but the SC shells are nice
well i dont think i will play it a lot due to not having any new ships to unlock
What’s Mk.4? Gun that was supposed to use American SHS? That can somehow much better than British shell as it would make about 600 mm penetration at 10 km, according to the american gun of same caliber length.
But yeah, my personal wish is N3 with 18 inch as at least it has shells.
well one more to but man i am not interested in doing it but i don’t want to play the le orla at 4.3 with chances for a 5.3 game
Im glad I didnt buy it in the end. That doesnt sound like its gunna be at all fun to play at 4.3
um but i am not expecting them to add much else unless the subs go into coastal which would be weird
