Tiger might be a bit of a menace, if only we had Lion TT as I don’t have tiger.
A beautiful sight indeed
I won’t pretend that I don’t have an exceptionally smug grin on my face. It is a touch of a shame that Bismarck’s armour is slightly worse than I expected it seems, but she has the RoF to help her.
well turns out when you have not been investing in BB development you forget how to make good ones
well her dispersion is questionable but the ROF is good
How does the Vanguard fare against its competition?
To be fair the RoF buff to Bismarck is understandable, given the 38cm SK C/34 gets the worst penetration among the upcoming ships. In fact she’s gonna have a hard time dealing with top BBs except ironically Yamato who cannot use heading angle to increase its protection.
HMS Warspite going to 7.7?
Why is it the same BR as the Hood and Rodney which are significantly better than it…
Yeah of course that’s kinda what I meant, she will do many things well, but have exploitable flaws, seems to be the mark of a balanced ship.
@HK_Reporter IMO the ROF is the most weird thing in this update. There are just no consistency in each ships. Yamato got best it could, Richelieu and Bismarck got what it couldn’t, Soyuz, Vanguard and Iowa acceptable but they can do better in project/real life, and developers saids they know but won’t apply it.
And for Roma… even bug report manager deny her best record… Sad Roma. She should be the little weaker Soyuz. Now she is just one of worst.
What is the explanation behind the Bismarck RoF because shouldn’t it be significantly slower if it was to be correct
Yeah, a bit disappointing its not even slightly better than Hood at the moment
Any chance of at least Vanguard seeing her 25 second reload?
Im not sure about that, the supercharge rounds are quite a bit better and the armour seems really good
But, the 25 second reload would make it very competitive. With the 25 second reload it could easily be 8.3 instead of 8.0.
Have you ever considered releasing this test range map to the public? I have often seen pictures of it and would love to be able to use it to test on my own time.
What configuration of vanguard are getting? The as built version or as planned version? Because I recall there being some changes made as built in comparison to the as planned
We are getting Vanguard as she was commissioned in 1946
Is there a reason the penetration on the Rodney is so medicore for a 16 inch gun?
The filler is average, the velocity is pretty good and the mass is pretty high. Not even 700mm seems a bit underwhelming compared to the new 16 inch guns being added.
Mass is actually pretty low for 16 inch, resulting massive speed drop during flight.
