Is my memory correct but during lions development post 42 were they planing on making faster fire rate turrets for the ship I remember hearing something along those lines a while back while watching one of drachinifel’s vids but it might have been one of the drydocks and I have no idea which one it was

I’m afraid to ask where it will be superior to the battleship Yamato.
Similar gun power, both in penetration and after-pen damage(If considering SAP, much better)
better hull armor layout which doesn’t have cheek weakness of Yamato, and having straight forward bow bulkhead which is useful in angling.
And much better citadel layout, while Yamato has every shell room above waterline and one magazine near waterline, N3 has layout same as Rodney, which is extremely survivable.
Also, two torpedo tube.

Just praying its allowed to have half of that.
I think several of our top tier BBs should have radar, they could have come in later refits with more AAA (not that they have that option for Vanguard) and Warspite and Renown have been denied HE-VT for their secondaries for “balancing reasons” (even though US BBs have them)
So we will have to wait and see

i know for a fact that renown should have a radar but many ships were added before radars were in navel meaning that they dont have working ones and because there is one guy working on the whole of navel they have not and likely wont get them
plus they still need to give renown the he-vt rounds for the secondarys

not sure but it might be a reason for them not having radars and others having them
and Warspite, but they double down saying that they wont add them with no good reason given

like i know that with a very high crew level the HE TF rounds can nearly work like VT rounds but some american BB’s have HE VT rounds
Yeah, 4x American BBs with heavier tertiary guns have them but Britain isnt allowed because “reasons” its wierd

Warspite if she had her armor modeled right honestly would be a BITCH to sink. Even by the Yamato.
Also if they WERE to add the Yamato and shit, they FLAT OUT will have to break their paper vehicle rule and add the Lion class.
Nothing else the British have would stand up to that thing, Especially not Vanguard.
Vanguard was a hunk of crap thrown together by the British.
Not a properly developed battleship, its internal layout was total hell, and its armor was garbage. it would NOT stand up to any kind of beating from even a WW1 Era battleship.
A Lion would, VERY well, it would probably even out perform a Iowa class in practice, especially with the new Mk 16inch guns that were developed form them specifically.
