I would honestly prefer Vittorio Veneto over Vanguard right now simply for Italy. I heavily doubt they model the de-capping system and the reload is worse than Rodney’s closer to Colorado’s. Penetration is phenomenal with the caveat of some of the worst dispersion known to man (seriously like genuinely the dispersion is
poor enough that at even War Thunder ranges shells may not hit in the same postal code) also filler sucks too.
It would be like a better Colorado really.
Pretty balanced overall I think. That’s assuming there is no decapping system…

De-capping system will be not work on war thunder’s range anyways. 70 mm is even too thin for working in close range.
Besides, what will decide Littorio class’ armor is how Gaijin will interpret presence of ‘concerete’ used for gap between armor. We have concrete armor in war thunder and it’s quite effective.
The concrete thing would benefit the KGVs and Vanguard also. But for those ships I’m not sure if they’d ignore it as it’s a layer behind other armour.
I think Littorio would still be valid as it’s got that poor reload to balance it out
IMO what GB really needs right now is not ‘Yottabyte’ ship but historical buff in 15’’ and 16’‘, especially on their reloads. Making 25 seconds for 15’’ and 30 seconds for 16’’ will make GB better brawler than now, which is needed for most naval map modes.
Most of ‘Yottabyte’ ships on other nations will not having drastically improved armor on current most heavily armored ships, and citadel is similar or somewhat higher than those. Yamato is concerning, but it’s eternal mandate of GB who has lowest penetration among all nations, which will be not solved even when Lion class comes(Actually, I think 16’‘/45 Mark II’s penetration will be not much better than Rodney’s 16’'/45 Mark I in war thunder)

sadly the only solution for Britain is a paper ships being either the N3 or one of the suggestions for the “lion class” that went into the realms of madness
