Whitby… will be more confident in Le Orla for most of battle while grinding British coastal but would be useless if you grind HMCS Terra Nova and HMS Leopard.
On the other hand, Le Orla would be harder to use because of small tonnage, weak armamanet(especially side of long term sustainability), but it is useful even after you grind all the coastal because it is irreplaceable for now
I used Orla to grind the coastal tree, and it was great to me.
Maps with an “coastal area” you’re an absolute menace to the small boats but anything about your size or larger you’re unlikely to be able to do anything against.
i would disagree sure it is not the best for killing destroyers but it is very potent at killing everything thing else you face especially using the HE-VT
Almost no secondary, and short storage of 76 mm HE-VT makes me depict as Le Orla’s armament weak. Especially I’m concerning on defending the captured area.
do I get the “coastal” boat at 4.0 that is good vs coastal but weaker vs destroyers and just hope I get into a coastal match / decent mixed maps
or
do i get the frigate at 3.7 and hope I get coastal/Frigate matches rather than uptiers but with the knowledge that the 4.5" guns can be usable against destroyers.
I also quite enjoy Bluewater and would be more confident in the frigate over the coastal…
I wish you could do a 24 hour trial of a premium, maybe have it only reward normal vehicle levels of reward, but would allow you to properly trial the vehicle in matches prior to purchase
@굴러온 you did a comparison of Supercharged 15" mk.1 vs Sk 38cm didn’t you and 15" Mk.1 edges ahead at point blank as well as at range? What value did you use for MV of 15" supercharged if you don’t mind me asking.
Nah, I didn’t calculate point blank penetration as it means nothing in naval, especially capital ships. For value, I used this for conservative calculation, so if someone can get ‘new gun’ value, then it would be better.
