Britain Naval Tree - What’s left to be added for all BRs

If a report is very much of a non-serious nature and does not conform to the basic rules of the report site, then yes it is spam as its taking staffs time to have to review and close it. Taking them away from processing other valid reports.

If someone is found to be making reports for trolling / sarcastic purposes, then they will face a ban on the CBR. This was simply a warning.

You see, the thing is that he said:

This is a singular report that has been posted once. If he had said “please do not make spam reports” then that would be the end of story. However this report is 100% factual and contained 2 secondary sources. While I understand Gaijin doesn’t model reliability issues I do think that because this issue was so severe they had to scrap Royal Sovereign because of it.

The request was to stop spamming. This was a spam report and thus a clear warning to not do that was issued.

This report contained one attached source:

That was not valid or conclusive.

There is no conclusive evidence of this within the report or that this issue was a lifelong issue of the ship throughout its entire Soviet service and the ship never once rotated its guns. The source in the report claims it was returned in that condition and even that is not fully clear by this one extract.

if individuals continue to knowingly misuse the bug report site, then this warning will not continue to be a warning, but will become a ban. Wasting staffs time with non serious / trolling reports is not justifiable.

This will not be discussed further here. If you have an issue or dispute with the way a report was handled, then it should be raised in PM. The warning was for the OP of the report.

slightly un related are there plans to duplicate the ship over to the british tree or will the R class stay russian for a while

Its possible a Revenge class will appear in the future for the British tree. But as with the existing rule, we wont have two ships of the same name sake (even in different periods) in different trees. So it cannot simply be Royal Sovereign.

HMS Royal Oak next update (Trust)

Every QE, R, and Nelson class was sent to the breakers shortly after the war. Royal Sovereign actually avoided the yards longer than most since the Soviets were slow in returning her.

so the Novorossiysk is the exception to this then

The only thing Gaijin is consistant in, is being inconsistant in their rules.

Kinda shocking to be honest. Given she was British built she should be a premium in the British tree and not in the Russian tree.

But I guess the Dev’s don’t care for the British tree unlike other tree’s do they. Cant get anything they add to the UK tree right.

at least for the italian one they got it 2 updates before it was added to the russians

I have no issues with her being in the Soviet Tree. None at all.

But 4 things shouldn’t have happened.

  • She shouldn’t have been introduced without a British equivalent
  • She shouldn’t have been introduced so late
  • She shouldn’t have been introduced before the British one (which could easily just be a reskin with a different name and number)
  • She shouldn’t have been introduced almost flawlessly as far as additions go meanwhile there is literally nothing correct with Rodney aside from her general outline.

Literally they could have changed the statcard name, the printed name on the side and the skin and she’d be a parallel addition to the UK tree.

So nice one, now the USSR still has more top tier TT ships than the most relevant navy until 1943, and one of those ships isn’t even in her native tree.

Absolute travesty, this shouldn’t be the precedent that’s set, but yet again, the UK naval tree has been shafted.

I think its pretty clear which one has had a significantly greater amount of dev time. Given the dry spell we’ve had the last 2 years. Rodney should ahve come in a flawless state

I can agree with this for the most part.

Its very telling when one ship arrives almost perfectly in one tree and another ship is a right old mess in another tree…

Very telling.

Personally I wont be wasting my time with grinding out Rodney…or any other ships.
