Britain Naval Tree - What’s left to be added for all BRs

Well I reckon it should work decently in ec if it has less gun dispersion than the 15 inch guns but I have no way to test ATM due to being away for the whole dev server

They share a dispersion value I believe, i’m pretty sure thats what HK said when I asked him with reference to the Amagi’s 16" anything 15 and above has a set dispersion stat higher than the others But i could be misremembering.

Also worth noting that the 16" was less accurate than the 15" but mostly that was because the 15" was insanely accurate and actually more accurate than the second most accurate the 13.5", it was considered a failure in accuracy (the 16") but still more accurate than a lot of other guns.

For those of you guys who would like to find some source regarding the RoF, I would recommend you to write to Royal Brass Foundry [email protected] to see if they would be happy to take a look at the Ship’s Cover for you to see if there’s any document covering the reloading rate. As the secondary sources are rather contradictory to each other, I strongly doubt giving secondary source would convince them.

I would have personally travel to there to check those documents myself but unfortunately I am too busy at this moment to do that

As an aside relating to underperforming reloads, I’ve been doing a little more archive digging and found a record of an earlier SRBP shoot where Tennessee accomplished a 2.46rpm, significantly closer to Jurens’ 2.5rpm quote for 1930s SRBP. Do you think it would be worth making an amended report on the subject?

Do the British have any records of short range battle practice like the US did? It would do a lot on getting data to find shorter than average reloads.

For those of you concerning about Rodney’s draft in game:

Spoiler

Yellow - shell room
Red - Magazine

Looks like we are more than protected then.

I assume the armour isn’t yet finished as im curious if the belt will cover the correct depth below the waterline?

The belt has rather limited coverage below waterline by its design

Thats why i ask, her having a great draft obviously covers that but correct belt depth and placement is also very important

Rodney’s Draft on Dev Server was quite okay. Besides, server is closed, so I’ll left some screenshot for those who may not see her gorgeous looking.

Rodney’s armour and module layout on live is almost completely wrong everywhere.

They also seem to have not modeled modeled most of the fuel storage, which tends to be pretty helpful from a survivability standpoint. Also, while flash and shrapnel don’t travel down the barbette in protection analysis a hit to the elevator of say the middle turret can send shrapnel to damage the forward one. Can’t say how historical it is that there’s no lower barbette armor since I don’t have access to plans but it’s something I don’t think I’ve seen in another battleship before.

Tbh i do wanna ask , does Britain have any ship that can be considered counter part to Yamato/Iowa ? Cause beside Vanguard class I don’t remember they have any ship that could fill in that role

Unfinished Lion class is probably the closest, though there were a number of different design revisions considered which makes it confusing to discuss at times. But I’d still probably take Missouri or Yamato over most of the realistic ones

G3 with 16.5".

Imagine Nelson but a thicker deck, more inclined belt, bigger guns, faster and confirmed 30 second reload.

Why is Rodney’s magazine on top of the shell room? Shouldn’t the shell room be on top of the magazine?
