Thought the C had a different radar

you’re never going to use the skyflash anyways
1 because its just absoluttely horrendous in terms of performance
2 because you dont get the countermeasure rails with them
3 because good luck using them vs aim-7m and r-27er
4 they really just suck

I “might” for SB. but depends on the loadout configurations possible and how the radar performs.

ohh i know they suck the tornado adv broke me.

i cant really think of a situation where a skyflash would come in handy compared to an aim-9M with its countermeasure resistance

did anyone hear what source BVVD said for the skyflash’s on the gripen? i swear he mentioned a website

To my knowledge Sweden is just getting the Gripen A this patch and the UK will get the SA Gripen C.

well theres a picture i think
and here
Jaktrobot SKY FLASH Robot 71 Notis 1 (aef.se)

SAAF JAS-39C will recive any special loadout ?

There are situations where a radar guided missile might be handy. But we’ll have to wait and see. We havent had a look at the C yet. We dont know how badly nerfed it is

Welp so far for grinding Swedish Gripen then.

İm gonna stick with F-15 and Su-27 first.

Wow… They really screwed over Sweden. Not even giving Sweden their own jet first is nasty

They must be saving the C for ARH for Sweden

Yet UK recieves it.

This is a double standart.

Plenty of improvements to C over A model, not just the ARH. If this is what they had in mind for Sweden this should’ve been one year overdue…

Double standard? What?

You do know Britain only has 11.3s like Sweden does right? and as they wont add prototypes to fill that hole and other options require AMRAAM. that would mean Britain gets nothing. 0 this update. That is more unfair

The SAAF C model never mounted ARH missiles

Irrelevant, as it can mount them.

Well lets just hope that its actually able to beat the 10 hardpoints on the su-27
