Bring the XM800T back down to 7.7

So when the XM800T first came out for America, i loved that thing. But since these updates, gaijin nerfed it like crazy, then put it up to 8.0, it messes up the whole 7.7 lineup. So bring it back down to 7.7. please!!!

If it goes back to 8.0 than the Luchs and Type 87 RCV (p) also should go down in BR. The XM800T is the best of all the 20mm vehicles thanks to its size and RPM. Gaijin didn’t put the RCV down in BR because its the only 7.7 and japan only has a 7.3 lineup so i dont see the XM800T dropping when its a very strong vehicle at 8.0

bro its a faster firing fox with a stabiliser, it should NOT be below 8.0

but they nerfed it and messed up usa 7.7 lineup it was perfect where it was (7.7)

How did they nerf it besides bringing it up in BR. Again lineups arent not a viable point as once again, the RCV 87 (p) is 7.7 with no other 7.7 and WAS 7.3 and had a lineup.

USA line ups not other nations line ups, its speed and acceleration was reduced, turret traverse was reduced, and the and the cannon over heats wayyy to quickly.

Sounds like it was given historical treatment and its still a good vehicle. If you can prove the vehicle should perform better than id make a bug report, if you cant you cant. Some people just dont do good in every vehicle maybe this one just isnt for you.

What are you saying here exactly?

No i LOVED that vehicle, got so many kills with it too, but ever since the update happened the performance went down noticeably.

It should be fine at 8.0, more things have less armor than at 7.7 where the majority of nations have heavies.

But its not, thats the thing. It messes up the whole USA 7.7 lineup

So? What about the RCV on Japan? The RCV can only play with 7.3 vehicles and nothing else is 7.7, or you have to play 8.3 again, thisnisnt an exclusive problem to the US. The vehicle was doing insanely well compared to stuff like the RCV so if gaijin sees its not doing well it may move down in about 6 months when they do BR changes.

Fox is more mobile on paved maps, and the gun is incredibly good in terms of penetration for a 30mm autocannon at 7.7. Fire rate is slow but so are reaction times at this BR due to slow turret traverse and lack of stabilizers.

I don’t want to be Captain Obvious but being anyways. It was a matter of time, it’s a very effective vehicle against light armored vehicles and annoying enough for heavily armored vehicles. Unfortunately Gaijin doesn’t make BR changes based on if there’s lineup or not. The finnish ZSU-57-2 and the swedish Strv m/42 Delat Torn are good examples.

Compared with similar vehicles, the Wiesel 1A4, the FV721, the Type 87 RCV (P) are relatively inferior, but at the same time between the most ‘rat’ vehicles in War Thunder but compared with the XM 800T are barely nothing. I’d stick with the stabilized and higher mobility of the XM 800T at 8.0 than any other counterpart.

To be honest, it’s most a taste thing but XM 800T can still performs very well at 8.0. Lower it to 7.7 and bring the Type 87 RCV to 8.7, everyone’s happy.

the XM is almost as fast in turret traverse with full stab, it being in the same match as the scimitar and fox is only balanced by USA mains being on average worse than brit mains

Post invalidated, he mentioned sweden /s

Honestly the type 87 rcv (p) imo works better in the 8.x bracket when fighting germany because of the light armor vehicles, also the 9.0 rcv is amazing but not having a stabilizer definitely sucks, id say quite a few ifvs at 9.0-9.3 are really mid, i love the RCV though on my 9.3 lineup and i still keep the (p) because its fun to hunt down ifvs if i know the enemy has some.

That thing needs to go up to 8.5 at least.
