Bring the night battle back!

I can understand why they were removed, but I’m glad they’re still an option at higher tiers.

I have the option enabled but sadly rarely get night battles. Like once every month I get a couple of Night battles in a row. That’s it. I wish they made it less rare… :/

6.7 would still be the lowest i could go for night battles

once a month? man you have bad luck then I get them extremely often compared to how often I get smaller teams (literally like 3 times since that came out)

The flares were pretty cool, I’d be welcome to seeing them come back on lower BRs where NVD isn’t available. All still as an option, of course.

that would make sense

Its really annoying… I dont think ive ever gotten a small scale air match either lmao…

Low tier battle at Night? That’s called I take a low tier to top tier and troll cause it’s funny. Also NVD sucks in game to bright I can’t tell a bush/rock from a tank so I don’t use the junk anyways.

It’s rly tooooooooooo rare :/
Even makes me wonder: does Snail Planet not have nights???
Instead of continuously matching the same map (which I don’t object to because it saves server resources), why not allow day and night variations? That would help a lot

I for one, am really glad it’s optional - as I do not enjoy night battles at all.

Maybe for those who do enjoy it, and are sad that they are rare, perhaps they could add something like a +10% RP boost on night battles to encourage more people to enable the option.

Nights are rare because most players dont have the option turned on.

They will become more common if more players want them.

I doubt gaijin would ever add an rp reward for that sadly. They want to keep the ground grind as rough as possible… :/

True.

I think the profile picture / title rewards were a nice first step, but there probably needs to be more stuff coming every now and then, to keep incentivizing people who don’t like night battles, to keep having night battles selected.

I find it weird that such a low amount of people want to play night battles… I really like it as CAS is more challenging and TV guided weaponry dont work in night battles

I can’t speak for others, but the reasons why I don’t enable it :

  • Hearing problems, and hearing opponents is much more important in visually limited environment.

  • I generally find sitting in Gunner / CITV thermals all the time to feel quite claustrophobic with the lower resolution.

  • On tanks without thermals, I really just dislike burning my eyes with the green NVD filter lol.

  • Harder to visually spot space climbing CAS, who in turn, are way more effective with their thermal TGP’s.

  • Harder to visually spot / stop people rushing down the flanks and spawn camping.

  • Just a general feeling that the heightened mental effort of playing it, isn’t worth identical rewards to easier / more enjoyable daytime fighting.

Flares flashbanging you, and constantly forcing toggling NVD on and off was another huge reason, so glad to see that’s gone at least.

Flares are removed now, though, I guess, so that’s a plus, but all your other criticisms are very valid. In general, the ground grind is so horrible that I find myself just playing the most effective way instead of the fun way…

He’s just like me fr lol.

Not even just when it comes to doing what’s fun, but doing what’s right.

Constantly feeling to go where the rewards are (I.e capturing point), even when you notice things like an exposed flank, and you know it’d be in the teams best interest to do the thankless task of watching it, but there’s just no incentive to do so.

Thankfully, I have almost finished unlocking every Israeli vehicle, so when that’s done, I’ll be able to play how I want with no care for rewards.

I finished the entire russian ground tree a while back, i have close to every russian vehicle now but im currently working on other nations like china and japan lmfao… The grind never stops…

I played two battles last night both where night battles

are you guys on a diffrenet server from the NA cause alot of people where there had alot of them.
