I’m not bad you’re bad

Yep, I’m not surprised.

Why is the vehicle deliberately ahistorical then?

There’s many vehicles Gajin refuses to fix and I have no idea why. What I do no is the Chappy does not need a buff. I used to think it was too weak, and then I just got good.

But they didn’t refuse to fix it. They deliberately added smoke to it, ahistorically. So why?

I smell pure OP

How on God’s green Earth could you possibly not clear the sky with impchap (US version)???

1 flare

Assuming you can even get the missile to lock on in the first place against a hovering helicopter.

Not in 9.0

Assuming you are at least thinking about it’s own BR range and the majority of planes.

Anyways, I feast or I feast more. Choose your response.

It’s only available in GSB 10_2, which is the only place I will see it.

And that means diddly-squat for a hovering helicopter it can’t lock for “some reason”

Do we still have any planes up around there?

Though I’m mainly doing GRB. 8.0-10.0 hosts mostly flareless planes, with only a few op flared ones (and ones with guided weapons) which ground mains usually moan about.

It’s hard to find anything without CMs in that bracket.

While your K/D is good in the Imp.Chaparral, the spawns to kill rate is not anything special. It’s close to 1:1

Not bad but not exceptional

Sadly nobody spawns any planes there (referring to GRB) most of the times. Think about a meta with York and PGZ09 etc.

I’m not gonna verify this again for I had too many 0 plane games when I last tried to verify my statement xD

That’s a fair point, you can’t will enemy planes into existence. Often SPAA is doomed to sit around waiting

I haven’t played the ImpChap much as I prefer SPAAs that have a gun and can defend itself from ground units in some way or join the attack in some cases.

Yep, that’s pretty much the result of 8.3-10.0 having ridiculously OP SPAA. No1 spawns CAS anymore. Kinda ironic how the Imp being such a powerful vehicle is what stops it from getting kills.

I usually go around and try to spray tanks with autocannons just to have fun, which made my stats on other gunned SPAAs less “useful” wrt AA efficiency itself :0

I’m also guilty of that

But seeing as you and @Pangolin_Fan like the ImpChap, can you fine fellows tell me how you get it to work? Does it mostly destroy planes that have no flares, or planes that do have flares but don’t react in time?

I usually just hide behind some building and shoot whoever I see tbh. The sound change from last major update even made it possible (kinda, don’t always use, no guarantee) to be afk and react only when you hear the engine - and after starting up the seeker the enemy can still be outside of our minimal range.

Usually there will be flareless ones. Point and click

Helis can be a problem but I’ve only seen 2-3 times in these games; they may be still vulnerable to gepards, may simply not owned/ played by much players, and we can have a lock sometimes, when they turned back to the pad. We got a building as cover so we won’t really die to them.

For conscious flared ones like alpha, take cover and wait for a gepard to point and click. An 8.3 one will do, anyone with basic aiming skills can do. What we can do is to distract him, or hold our fire till he is/ need to be/ want to be concentrated on someone else. Just like how firing conditions are considered in ARB.

tbh our strength can be called balanced only at this moment.
