What is the differences between Gerät 341 and Gerät 342? I found Gerät 342 on RL, but never see Gerät 341.
Sry, i have never heared of Gerät 342.
The Panther could already resist the IS-2s shell at some range, since BR-471B APBC wasn’t used until right at the end of WW2, potentially never.
Only with the degradation of German armor quality was the 122 able to defeat the armor at much longer ranges. Simply because the armor become so brittle that a large heavy shell could shatter it.
Basically what was happening to the T-34s armor whenever lt was shot by an overmatching shell.
While the 100mm AP, which had higher armor penetration, couldn’t defeat the armor at the same range as the 122.
you could argue the KT 105 had its hull built, the cannon existed, and so did the rangefinders, so not really a truly paper design…
reworking the turret (as it is currently modeled too small) to accommodate those is pretty trivial from a design perspective what would be a task is actually constructing the thing and retooling for full production during the last stages of the war. hence why we have initial designs for the E-# series which would have come in some format of the designs had the war continued on more favorably for German manufacture.
Gaijin has already remade the Flakpanzer 341 (on the test server). Given that, it’s time to reintroduce the 341 back into the tech tree.
How so? Did it got a new model? I’m too lasy do download the test server.
It get a 1000m/s, 35g tnt, 87mm pen pzgr, mgr is removed, spgr 1040m/s
That would shred tanks like crazy. But isn’t it possible that they just accidentally did something with it?
It can’t be a accident, KT 105 ammo change too, now 1005m/s, 272mm/90° at 10m, 140g tnt, with no overpressure
It’s interesting for sure, but it could simply be a balancing change. These tanks are common and often played by veterans, when I play German 6.7 I see them all the time in uptiers. There are valid reasons to give them balance changes even if they’re not bringing them back.
I desperately want them back of course, but…
The Changes to the Flakpanzer 341 were because of my reports, the 10,5 cm Pzgr.39 (still wrong tho) on the KT, are thx to Killakiwi and my Reports. However more people took the initiative to correct what is now still wrong on the DEV Server. Except name.

Yep. So nothing for us mortals to get excited about in terms of their return just yet
Ill honestly doubt they will. Maybe the Flakpanzer 341 as 2 pairs (so 4) were build, however since they arent unique to the Tank, but also intended for Ships and on a simple land mount, they dont count torwards an partial completion of the Flakpanzer 341.
And for those interested: (110,5g TnTa is quite nice and higher than the M.Gr.18 (tho the TnTa of the HTA filler is wrong anyway, soooo, idk, someday it might change)
I think they will eventually return because it’s free money. But not for many years yet.
Fingers crossed that they do return. Maybe for WT’s birthday?
They didn’t for the 10th anniversary, so…
Not returning tanks with all assets already in the game would be really weird, the question is when they’ll appear again ?
I highly doubt they’ll just reintroduce those back into the TT and call it a day. I smell some FOMO events or marketplace shenanigans.
Also, would any of you buy fake Tiger for, let’s say, 50-60 GJN if it was offered by Gaijin ?
Would you buy the “FictionWaffe” pack containing three fictional vehicles for 150-200€ ?
Definitely. Knowing me, I would end up with literal thousands of battles in them. Divide the price by that time and it more than justifies the purchase in my book. The fakeness doesn’t really bother me because from my perspective the “real” machines we have in WT are already so divorced from their namesakes that it doesn’t make much of a difference.
If you wish to know anything about German tech (including tanks/planes/ships) you only need to ask Pentagon to allow you access to their archives .
Americans looted around 800,000 original patents from Germany at the end of the war ,not to mention thousands of scientists/engineers …prototypes and so on .
There is a reason why USA has advanced so fast from 1945 -1970 …and to explain it i would have to write an essay in German.
More modern we go, the more classified variables that simply have to be estimated.
At this point those vehicles can’t really be considered realistic, so getting back FictionWaffe looks even less of a problem as a whole tier of vehicles would be in the game with a huge asterisk over them regarding realism.
I know you aren’t the only one who would gladly pay for those vehicles, so Gaijin doing this in the future is one of the easiest actions to predict, ever.
They’d literally put money in their pockets without any work and we all know how much Gaijin likes that feeling.
