Brimstone Missiles

Its all been reported internally by Gunjob.

The issue is they refuse to add MMW or a placeholder for MMW like making them IR for now.

if russia is incapable of doing it, it clearly is impossible

Yep, definetly a marketing lie

But we already do have airborne radars that can detect only moving ground vehicles in the game. Just give the seeker some basic function like ‘‘if the target’s speed is 30 km/h or more, can see it’’.

No, that would make them unusable. Especially vs the new SPAAs. Youd be constantly using the SAL versions anyway.

but no no the kh38mt is reel guyss!!!

The addition of the LMUR has convinced me that the brimstone must have it’s mmW capabilities modeled.

Honestly the best SEAD loadout would be 2 vulcan gunpods…
Back when we had only KWS - I had a loadout named “pantsirschreck” it’s just gunpods and you basically just multipath and spray the entire area. Was fun as hell.
I just want a bunch of guns with eurofighters mobility…

Came back to the game after a few months after previously getting bored of the KH-38 spam. Have a few okay games and think things aren’t too bad until I go against Russia multiple times with my whole team being wiped in seconds by KH-38 and LMUR missiles.

Yet somehow the Brimstone having mmW FnF and being on helicopters is too much for the game and there’s no counter to it, despite pretty much all the same issues being prevelent for the LMUR.

Can someone explain to me what happened in this video? I locked onto the target — a helicopter that was landing at the base — fired the Brimstones, and not a single one hit. As I flew past, you can see that the missiles struck somewhere else nearby instead. Then, when I was already really close, the laser marker suddenly corrected itself and aimed properly at the helicopter.

I guess it’s time to go back to the USSR and just spam Kh-38s — no problems there 😉

Gaijin be like “☝️🤓 Erm, ackshually you can use smoke to block the LMUR and KH-38!”

Never mind that most tanks don’t have the systems to tell you these missiles are on their way, or that top attack missiles tend to attack from the top, not the front which is where most tanks deploy their smoke toward.

You’ll need to check the replay, but Brimstones keep phasing through helis recently, have done for months

i have posted replay ;d

I mean, looking at it from the perspective of the heli, you cant see what actually happened to the Brimstone in that clip

I don’t know why but it seems Brimstones does the same vs ground targets, i’ve had for months now the same happening to me vs pantsirs with the ‘’ popup ‘’ tactics, even on multi-vehicle sams where i launch on one system and gun a secondary.

Guess who dies ?

If you guessed the brimstone target you’d be wrong as that bugger doesn’t even take damage.

It’s just astonishing how artificially gimped these missiles are, especially when if britain wants to use their FnF capability in game, they have to use US systems.

If it’s a question, gaijin’s answer would be “nerf it”

Checked the replay, the laser on multi-vehicle systems actually does NOT paint the target, imagine a box around the target and it paints the center of that box so the missile flies right through between the drivers cabin and the radar/launcher.

The target can’t even be fucking targeted!

Brimstones were adjusted as part of the Hellfire and JAGM changes.

Small missile small boom…well in Gaijins eyes

Small boom or no boom does not matter if it does not go for target anyway.
