Is it known for a fact that it is armor and not just a turret basket for the crew?
Even if its just a few millimeters of structural steel that would be enough to help catch spall and not cause any more.
Nope USA vehicles dont have spall liners never had never will in Gajins eyes. Even though people have shown spall liners being in the M60s and beyond but nope never existed.
