Bradley at 10.0 specifically the tow2

same angle…

It also has a worse gun tho

the same gun…

And this doesn’t mean much… Bradley:

  • has a better ammunition
  • +2 missiles and more ammunition for the cannon
  • better turret rotation speed
  • greater gun depression
  • can use missiles effectively with the commander’s sight
  • better reload rate
  • spall liner (Desert Warrior is currently missing)
  • can track aircrafts

the commander use to be affective but you have to have gunner sight visible now to use the missiles.

Desert Warrior doesn’t have DU rounds

Allow me to rephrase, it has a worse round.

also spall liner covers the most useless parts and serves 0 purpose. EVEN then this is on the bradley

the desert warrior didnt use DU either.

Composite screens is just a joke, not a single sane sould would shoot at the angled part of the vehicle, even when you’re facing another auto cannon.

still counts

Tbh the biggest issue with the bradley or any of the TOW-2 slingers is not the vehicle itself its the fact that gaijin shafted the TOW and every other ATGM stupidly hard bar Russian beamriders.

The TOW should not be dropping like a rock out of the tube like it does in game, same goes for functionally every modern NATO ATGM, yet they still do.

To that same end, the TOW-2B is still missing it’s actual penetration and it’s entire second warhead, this has been an issue for years now and gaijin has not said a word on it since they nerfed it’s penetration solely due to the outcry the missile caused.

Same bit here after the terrible ATGM changes, its really hit or miss now to use the commander’s sight unless its against long range targets.

That and the spall liners on the M3A3 are a joke, they cover a miniscule fraction of the fighting compartment, if it was the entire interior like other IFVs I would agree with you on this, but thats just not the case.

In the end, no TOW-2 slinger should be 10.0 after the ATGM changes imo, the M3A3 included.

The desert warrior was never in service with DU for political reasons. England as well as half of the UN viewed them as in humane and radioactive.

the Bradley cant keep the missile deployed like it can in real life so Bradley’s in game have to wait a life time rendering you useless for abt 10 seconds before you can fire. The warrior just stops and fires no need for a deploying of the missile.

It’s almost every single ATGM in the game, full stop.

I am yet to actually find one example of a missile in game that is supposed to launch and lose altitude before the booster/sustainer motors kick in.

The drop makes using any ATGMs while behind cover/peeking over a hill difficult because they just slam into the ground. It is unrealistic, and it needs to be changed.

depends on the missile, the TOW for a fact doesn’t drop due to its boosters on the bottom counter acting gravity.

Not even that, the velocity imparted by the kick motor provides more than enough speed to allow it to stay at it’s fired altitude before the motor and flare kick in to begin guidance.

EG, a TOW-2 just as it’s motors light, its lost at most inches of altitude, meanwhile in game, this thing would almost be hitting the floor.

Its like gaijin is forgetting that the kick motor on TOWs have a substantial amount of force behind it, and a grand majority of ATGMs for that matter.

Heck, even ATGMs which have their motor burning out of the tube fall, like the Chinese laser guided FFARs on the weird APC tank thing.

Its a horribly wrong mechanic.

You aren’t seriously trying to imply that the Desert Warrior is better than rhe Bradley right?

Bwcause that is delusional even for typical nation main standards.

In some ways it is, overall their abt the same. What limits the desert warrior is mostly its ammo, it never used m919 to my knowledge which is why it doesn’t get access to it. Its lower profile, can stop and immediately fire its missiles, better armor, modeled composite, faster, better reverse are what make it better.
