At the moment it only gets access to agm 62 Walleyes while being 12.0 in ground rb. I think it should be moved down to 11.3 at least in order for it to fit better into the cas role, its air to air suite wouldnt be any better than some of the other jets at the same br in ground as well.
Compared to the 10.7’s it could encounter im against it, 10.3 already isn’t comparable but even some of the best 11.0 and 10.7 would blatantly be outclassed in every regard especially A2A wise, id say 11.7 or 12.0 would be better
I think it needs to be looked at as a CAP aircraft with a few bombs rather than as a CAS aircraft. Which is a shame, but alas…
The ej kai is 11.3 in ground with the same air to air loadout so i dont think the air to air capability is out of the usual. Walleyes are basically useless so most of the time it will just be the air to air role its filling.
Ej kai isn’t a hornet though and is also slightly too low in BR, but then again theres a lot of 10.7 aircraft that are too high
The exact same US hornet has been at 12.0 in GRB since it’s launch and nobody complained…
I didnt know tbh. A jet with 9ls, 7ms and unguided bombs or walleyes shouldnt be sat at 12.0. Its the same as the F-104s.ASA being at 12.0 in ground… It just doesnt make sense when the f4e is at 11.3 with mavericks? The hornets are good air to air but an ej kai has a chance against them so i think being at the same br of 11.3 or the hornet being 11.7 would be fine.
The last thing a phantom with no guided weapons should be is 11.7? These jets fill a cap role meaning they should at least be better than cas jets at the same br as them, i see no reason moving them up just for them to be usless as its better to bring an eft to 12.0 instead.
Tbf its a compression problem and so much stuff could be fixed by actually decompressing. Its why im against something like the Hornets going down in BR. That some logic is used on the F-18C hornet whochnis 14.0 with no HMD, no CAS and yet it shares the same BR with every other 14.0 hornet. Id like BR decomp so we can actually make some real changes to CAS BR’s
the high tier british CAS situation is honestly just hilariously bad to me.
for 11.7 im using the T10 harrier with 4 Mavericks facing IRIS-T while peers of the same BR beat me out in every single aspect
at full fat 13.0 i will be using the late hornet as CAP with those ten SPAMRAAMS. (It has HMD right? I refuse to use radars)
Eh, id say it should be dealt with if Britain was the worst CAS nation but all in all they are pretty solid at nearly every BR. Wouldn’t mind seeing the T.10 get BOL but i wouldn’t say thats terrible, some nations are using 10.7 jets for CAS at 11.7 since they dont have anything.
Now you wanna talk real problem with Britain is the lack of the Gnat like where the hell is it snail

Britain has the best Hornet, BOL like the fins but with the full US CAS loadout unlike the Fins lol.

Considering the harrier 2 ought to be capable of running 6 missiles id expect it to also be able to carry 6 BOL pods
I feel pretty neutral about the hornets as aircraft. I like the F-15 and 16 more. But I’m talking about balancing and hornets really shouldn’t be the same or lower in BR than an F-4E. Or maybe the phantom should go down, 11.3 is pretty high up for a Vietnam jet
Hell no lol, we already have the Draken with dumb bombs at 10.7 vs phantoms with PD radar and dumb bombs, we dont need more under BR’d CAS aircraft with lethal CAP munitions
