Exactly. It’s almost always justified by comparison to a few or even just one undertiered vehicle it faces in max uptier, or by saying it can’t perform a role it’s not supposed to. All while neglecting the vehicles that it faces at tier or downtier and refusing to use the vehicle to its strengths.

I will note all the planes you suggest gaining the 9m should be at least 1 BR step higher in sim it with the aam-3 are by far the strongest IR missiles in sim and grief everything without MAWS or 120 CM pops. Like the 16a with 9ms would easily compete at 13.7. THe f/a 18a/c(early) would likely make any BR its at unplayable unless you’re maws equipped or have fox-3s and a good radar. Like mig-29 9.13 is auto lose against that you just cannot bring enough flares + your dogshit FM and trash radar r-73s would help but not enough
this is mostly because of map choices like Denmark and Tunisia are very flat and very popular which makes things that have good cockpit vis, a lot of IR missiles, and are on blue side extremely strong

Its only able to carry 4 sparrows, Its not really that much ordinance. If you are an ace pilot then you will be able to bully people with the flight performance sometimes but even that is suspect as the F-16ADF, F-16A will still out rate you.

I dont get it, why f/a-18A and C early are this low? F/A-18A is on part in terms of br with aim-9l only F-16A and a freaking F-4EJ, just 0.3 higher than jets that it should never see, and whats so bad about F/A-18C early that its 12.7? jets like su-27 are 13.0 despite similiar amount of missles and overall very similiar performance radar etc.
that doesnt make any sense, 12.0 jets that will have to fight f/a-18’s every game also carry 4 sparrows except worse ones and with much worse radars (for example british phantoms like wtf is this), your flight performance is in another league just except f-16’s, and dont tell me that phantom has similiar flight permormance to f/a-18, yes phantom is faster, but it gets to the speed much slower and doesnt even pull half of what the f/a-18 can pull
It makes plenty of sense. I think it will be better for the game than uptiering it. It will likely got some balancing once we get a decompression but until then limited armament, CM and lower BR is going to be viable and fun.
F-18C is equal to Rafale, F-15, Typhoon, etc.
Gripen C is equal to the F-16, 29SMT, Mirage 2000, J-10A, etc.

let me make something clear, all 12.0 jets also have limited armament and CM, on top of that most of them also lack good radar and flight performance, its ok tho as this br was made for jets like this, but f/a-18A isnt one of them. So what is better? Let 11.3-12.0 jets suffer cuz of one plane or let one plane suffer cuz of lack of br decompression?
