Bombing in fighters (poll)

all fighters should have there bombs stripped in ARB the only acception should be 13.0 plus so F4S and NF5A and many other premiums cannot bomb anymore im tired of playing bombers and not being able to get bases cause fighters stole them just to lose the match

bombing in fighters in nothing but a waste to your team cause your gonna get killed doing it

13.0 seems too high: only until BRs where bombers stop being common 8.0-9.0(Tu4, B-66, IL-28). The only option I see here should be bomber bases and fighter bases otherwise.

13.0+ planes need it to stock grind there fox-3s any fighter below 13.0 wont get bombs in air RB there are planes that need to bomb higher than 9.0

for example strike planes which are just modern bombers

Stripped no, but rewards rebalanced.

So a fighter should get 20% more reward for A2A actions and 10% less for A2G actions

Strike aircraft should get 20% more reward for A2G actions and 10% less for A2A actions. (I would also remove the diminishing returns mechanic for strike aircraft too, that way the increased A2G payload would actually be a meaningful advantage for them)

I also think Napalm needs re-balancing and/or CBUs added to give more aircraft an equivalent weapon

After that, just actually make the gamemode better for strike aircraft. More targets, better targets, no spotting system, etc etc.

But I dont think fighter-bombers shouldn’t loose that A2G component and it just gets messy

Oh I see. Definitely separate bases for different vehicle types - bombers get ones that allow them to destroy airfields and very high rp gain, fighters/‘strikers get the respawning bases

thats the thing FIGHTERS SHOULDNT BE BOMBING what in the world are you doing BOMBING in NF5A ??? quite literally could get a EASY ace in it 10.7

fighters bombing just hinders the team by them going low and getting brutally murdered

Yes. Gaijin need to stop neglecting Ground attacker and ‘real’ bombers.

But not in this way of idea.
1- Stock grind will be even harder.
2- Phantom players has their own rights to feel Nam Vibe just as we feels Gulf vibe in our Tonka.

Why not just make bombing targets have infinite heath? That would also neatly solve the issue.

yes its a problem with many planes looks at F4C

but to be fair this is more of a stock grind just being bad fighters should not be forced to bomb

and strike planes shouldnt be forced to play the fighter role

and i disagree heavily cause F4 was primarily designed as a interceptor so go do your job unless you think its fine for F104Cs to bomb like they did IRL

its a dumb line of thinking for most planes its same argument F4S players use

I agree about this part, but disagreeing about your original idea.

Fighter players have the right to do whatever they want unless that is trolling (squading with props, ramming in an airfield etc etc)

Fighters should not be forced to a2a ‘only’ by removing payload either.

This damn gamemode is focusing too much on a2a side.
If we remove capablity of bombing on the fighter because we don’t want to

They will claim that removing bombers/ground attackers from ARB is just like how a helo does.
Because they don’t want freeriding deadweights.

everytime a fighter bombs a for example a F4S a A10C or L is forced to either strafe ground targets or play figter with a 400 mph topspeed

To go on a small rant, Bombers should only have bases they can see along with the respawning bases for no downsides. Attackers should have normal ground targets and the respawning bases as well. Fighters should only fight other planes and a.i. Aircraft.

To make it better, Respawn bases respawn 1 base every 2 minutes. (Or just make bases user specific and let people bomb when they want too.)

Bombing and ground target penalties for fighters that bomb, Lets say 50% (Only after they get access to there better air to air weapons or have 3/5th of there mods unlocked. Can’t fight with 9e’s against people with flares right)

Kill penalty for bombers that hunt other players To keep it fair. (Also bringing back the 2014 damage model but not the a.i. gunners.)

Any multi-role aircraft like the f4’s are given Bombing research penalties for the TT (Not modifications) after they’ve unlocked 1/2 of there modifications. (So stock grinding isn’t effected but does make pure bombing unviable to unlocking the TT vehicles)

anything else can be put into the top categories basically.
