Bomb Loads are incorrect for Mosquito FB Mk VI and TR Mk 33 etc (from the Pilots Flight Operation Manual)

Series 2 FB Mk VI aircraft had the option of 2x 500 lbs internally with bombs as in the game but the RP3 x8, 2x 100 gallon drop tanks, 2x Depth Charges 2x Uncle Toms or 2x 500lb external bombs (in aero fairings) could be carried on the wings as well as the internal bomb load.

Would it be possible to have the additional ordinance and custom load-out’s added to an aircraft noted for its versatility.

Would it also be possible to have the flight model re-examined and improved?

Link detailing the Flight Operating Manual and cockpit. Part I, Item 27 specifically deals with bomb arming and mentions not only the drop tanks and camera but also fuselage bombs and wing mounted bombs. Part I, Item 29, Subsection (ii), deals with the Rocket firing selector controls. Part (III) Item 52, Subsection (iv) mentions the 250 lbs or 500 lbs options on the wings (faired), 2x 100 Gal Drop Tanks, Depth Charges, Rockets or other underwing stores (Uncle Tom perhaps).

There have been several others since following the release of the new variants. It took a very long time to add wing bombs to the Beaufighter, i doubt the Mosquitos will be treated any bettee.

I still have to rely on Firebrand for effective naval bombing capability against heavies, its 2000lbs AP bomb is the only thing that’s viable for the job. The TR. Mk 33 suffers from a poor bomb loadout. Those 500lb AP bombs at the steepest dive still lack the umph to punch the deck and ammo rack heavies. I expected it to have at least 1x 2000lbs AP bomb, but sadly, that isn’t the case.

And it’s a pain to dive with the AP bombs as these later Mosquitos are somehow not equipped with the “frill” airbrakes. Imo, Mosquito is perfectly capable of handling larger bombs, even the squadron version can carry up to 4000lbs. It’s a twin-engine attacker after all.
