AGM179 JAGM has been tested and launched on F/A18E. Thus, it maybe a good option for F18E’s armaments
Theres also another option besides the Block 3 Super Hornet… The Advanced Super Hornet Prototypes.
It fixed what is probably the BIGGEST issue the jet, the terrible performace; by increaseing the thust 8 thousand pounds total. As well as adding other features like an integradeted IRST and enclosed weapons bays. It came in both single seat and two seat configurations but the single seat is just cooler.
Note the single seat prototype had in internal irst mounted and the twin seat jet had an internal targeting pod mounted.
The Advanced Super Hornet is also known as the F/A-18XT

Gentlemen, I think this is not an adequate place for the real-life jet comparison.
I also think we should avoid direct comparisons between the F-14 and the F/A-18E/F, both fighters have their own areas that need to be respected.

I agree. F/A-18E Advanced Super Hornet is also one of the coolest jets, so I’d like to see the suggestions.
