I also enjoy bombing in bombers but from how long it would take in Sim to get to a somewhat safe alt just to get shot down by a rogue enemy fighter is very annoying, that’s why I personally prefer interdictive strike and strategic bombing (or at least as close to it as we can get) over ground target or convoys

In terms of flight performance, how does it compare to the legacy hornet?
To put it simply, imagine a F/A-18A or F/A-18C Early with slightly less turn performance and energy retention.

Ah, that’s good to know. I kept hearing people talking about how it was much worse than the legacy, and would be one of the worse aircraft in the game. So good to know that the rhino will stand a chance :D
Regardless of an minor changes in flight performance, it will still be 2 more pylons, AESA radar, more modern munitions and TGPs. A definite upgrade from the current F/A-18C

Would you take an upgraded F/A-18C or super hornet?
Regardless of legacy hornet upgrades, they will never have the additional pylons, which is far more important for multirole loads.
Fair enough. I’d take the upgraded C for a2a, but yeah E is better for a2g payload

Might as well add AIM-260 to that list if you think BLK III should have AIM-174B in-game.
If it wasn’t for the whole tricking congress thing, I think this would have made a great “Hornet II”.
