Absolutely yes! This would be the ultimate addition to the Japanese air tree, giving us a strike aircraft spawn at top tier to complement the F16C in ground lineups. Seeing this added to Japan would really be the cherry on top of the love given to the tree over the past year.

Well that depends if Gaijin wants to add other nations to the tree or if it will strictly be just Thailand.
+1 for US tree and US only where it belongs
There are two other lines that need to be filled in Japan regarding aircraft, possibly they will add another subtree, perhaps Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, etc. as happened with Benelux in France.

@WreckingAres283 doesn’t it look like the MAWS bumps under the cockpit are sealed off? The ones on the F-15SA have an aperture for the MAWS to look from but there is none on the SG
I don’t know what those things are beneath the RWR stubs on the back but they do look like MAWS and they are both present on F-15SA and F-15EX, maybe it only has rear/side MAWS coverage? That or the things in the back are part of the DEWS

Yeah, that’s what I thought they were for too but look at the ones on the F-15SA
Compared to those on the SG. They are missing the MAWS camera
Also, EPAWSS didn’t exist when F-15SG was made, it had to have been ALQ-239 DEWS or some TEWS upgrade, or just adding on the dispensers like the F-15I

IMO it should’ve came to America instead of Israel. What connects the f15sg to Israel, or really even Singapore? They don’t operate any Israeli planes from my understanding? Israel should’ve gotten Greece and that’s it.
Though it at least adds some variety for Israel, they’re really starting to become copy paste galore and this addition helps it out somewhat

The ground forces subtree suggestion has a dedicated section on it specifically. They’re actually really well connected militarily. However for this vehicle specifically, it doesn’t seem the F-15SG has any Israeli connection, unlike their F-16s (which are much more heavily connected to Israel).
As for Greece/Cyprus, it’s been said many times now that will happen in the far future next year, not the near future or this year. As I understand it they just don’t want to do it just yet, so they’re adding the F-15SG in the meantime it looks like.

Whats the total amount of CM it has?
It has MAWs but not EPAWSS, so it could just be the standard 240
they say here it has 4 additional CM modules, so it should be 360 if the base has 240; but it says “Countermeasure amount has been increased, similar to the Ra’am, also increased by mounting four additional CM modules in the two tails” so idk if would be 360 or 480
Then yes. It has the 4+ EPAWSS dispensers. That provides 360. It’s 2 per tail.
the extra dispensers are on most if not all DEWS/EPAWSS equipped F-15’s, not just DEWS. and it does not have MAWS apparently
