Boeing F-15EX Eagle II - Sharpening the Bald Eagle's Talons

no aoa limit will be interesting. I wonder if it can cobra

It’s been a while since I watched it but there was a video where former F-15C pilots mentioned they liked how the EX flew

If it’s between F-15C and E in FM, leaning slightly to the E, I’d be happy

From the airshows it seems like it can either do a psuedo-cobra of like 75 - 80 degrees or a half cobra that makes them slightly gain altitude. I don’t know if it’s gaining altitude because it’s a limit of the flight characteristics or because it has 1.4x the weight in pound force pushing it up for more than half the maneuver.

That’s an F-18 thing, we can only wait for SiAW to come into fruition.

f15ge should be 14.7 they bump it to 15.0 wasn’t the brightes idea its like somewhat better su30sm in terms of flight performance but not in term of weapons maybe equal in fox3s but su30sm having ability to use both r27er really hard to notch and chaff and r27et is insane in some situations like ability to lock and kill from 10km + low altitude and 20km+ in high alt is just too good I put su30sm above because of that but pure fox3s yeah they really close so yeah

it will be bit better than f15e at high altitude acculturation if they model the weight close to what it should be and if they give it f110 ge129 engines it would be faster than f15e past 1.5 Mach because thrust curves of 129 is better than 229 on 15e so yeah what we really need to focus on is give it 16 missiles’ ability

I don’t know F-15EX from trailer " Eagle’s Shadow " update pre service or full operational service

I think the F-15EX should really get more AIM-120 missiles, it should be increased to 20, and it just needs to use the AMBER pylon. However, this pylon has already been shown on the F-15 2040C, so it’s an actual product.

do you have a link for where that bottom picture came from?

it could be very useful for bug reporting more missiles

Idk, 16 sounds good to me. And we’d probably need a bit more solid ground than renders and mockups if we want the additional pylons

According to Boeing’s official website and the photos available, this plane can carry at most 12 missiles, so you’ll have to check other sources to get the extra missiles.

Yeah, you get to 12 with the normal 8 configuration plus the 4 gained by the outer wing pylons, but Gaijin chose to accept the MRML of the golden eagle so they’ll probably accept them for the EX too, which gets us to 16. Getting to 20 or 22 requires Gaijin to accept another separate stretch which is the belly double racks.
In any case, it’s just a matter of hours before we know the current configuration decided by the devs, we’ll figure out the rest then

F-15EX follows the F-15E in the tech tree. Not really surprising but kinda a bummer for people who haven’t grinded that line.

Plus, it’s confirmed F-15EX does not have MRML + MAWS.

The missile approach warning should be available since the F-15EX used a missile approach warning system during its prototype testing.

Those are easily bug-reported.

BTW, on teaser, it has been confirmed that the F-15IA is modeled with MAWS.
