the air force is working on the SiAW (AGM-88J) which is a air force version of the AGM-88G, of which from my understanding of what little info there is on it, it could also be used as a GPS guided missile as well, of which this can fit inside a F-35As weapon bay

it would be less power creep than 30sm2 a few patches ago, and much less than rafail and eft almost 2 years ago (and would still be arguably worse than rafail)

but DAIRCM would be even more effective, due to better coverage, (su-57 has a blind spot right over the nose) and DAIRCM could engage more simultaneous missiles)

from what ive heard, the F-15EX was originally meant to be a homeland defense fighter, but since kadana (ZZ airbase tail markings) is getting EXs and with them being put more and more into frontline defensive postures they are now pushing to find the MAWs system
