I think we are, or planning to. Also, just buy more F-15IA instead if not
we are buying f15IA, we purchased 25 units a few months back lol, it would be nice for usaf gifted like 12 or 15 units of f15 apg 63v3 to the israeli airforce as a replacement for our Baz airframe as a placeholder until full f15IA delivery which wont happen until mid 2030s

I mean… the way it is going. We will probably receive the F/A-18C this summer and then in December more advanced 4.5 gen aircraft. It was just a guess

2. The first F-15EX was delivered in March 2021 and delivered to Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.There are six of them in total-all of them will be used for test purposes…
3.On June 3.5, 2024, the 142nd Oregon Wing received its first F-15EX with a fighter landing at the Portland National Guard Air Base, and the second arrived a month later.
4.Basic F-15 training, for both the F-15E and F15 EX, will take place at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina starting in 2026…
f15EX is a 4.5 gen on steiroids, its not gonna touch game till mid 2026.we havent even received proper ingame aesas nor advanced fox 2s

usa is quite genrous when it comes to handing out israel handme downs , just 9 years ago usa gifted israel 8 units of f15-D as a replacement for fatigued airframes of Baz A/B units
Yeah, I don’t think we are ready for 5th-Gen fighters with stealth capability this year, tbh. I am betting we will be getting them by 2026-2028. This F-15EX is just a nicer filler aircraft to add before we transition into the 5th and 6th generations territory.
I actually think EX may come after the raptor. It only uses the more advanced AIM-120 and very advanced a2g weapons with an incredibly powerful radar and tons of countermeasures
