Only if they get AP rounds, and even then they’ll struggle against most WW1 tanks.
It would be able to engage armored cars though, so the Semple can strike true fear in the hearts of its enemies.

Which? M3, M5 or M6? They have different Barrle lengthes, velocitys and types of recoil compensation.

Hell yeah, +1. Perfect event vehicle, even if it won’t be practical, and the 37mm version could be added as a prem so everyone has a chance to bask in it’s glory.

The 37mm Cannon wasn’t due to the time. The Kiwis were fearful that the Japanese were gonna attack any time soon within a couple of weeks. So the travel for US 37mm’s, copies of blueprints, and other sorts just wouldn’t be possible.

they where sort of a weapon of pride. Its a ya there are lot of issues but we will resist at all costs.
Could be a great infantry support vehicle.

Some more info about the Bob Semple tank from Archives New Zealand,
Originally two tractors were considered for conversion into tractor tanks, the R.D.6, and the R.D.8, with conversion to being a tank (armour, fittings, turret, etc, but not including weapons or ammo), being speculated to cost £320 and £500 respectively. The cost of the 37mm main gun was £650, and the cost of a .303 Browning MG at £190, all to be shipped from the US, more specifically from Philadelphia [1].
The R.D.8 would be selected over the R.D.6, due to its larger size, and thus room for the crew to maneuver and ability to fit the guns, which at this point armament is still specified at 1x 37mm Cannon & 3x .303 MGs. The docs in this archive do not mention why this armament was not procured and fitted sadly.
The Frame of the armour of the Bob Semple was planned to be 9/16" (14.2mm) mild steel plates from the SS Port Bowen, which was grounded off Wanganui at the time. [2].This can be confirmed by source [4], which compared a 9/16" mild steel plate bolted to a 1/2" manganese steel plate, to the 9/16" plate bolted to a ‘vee corrugated plate’ The plates were tested by firing a .50" Vickers MG at it from 100 yards. Source [5] and [6] shows the results of the Armour tests to the 9/16" + V.Corrugated plate, three rounds penetrated both plates, but two ricocheted and did not pen.
During the design process the District Engineer, T.G.Beck, proposed a new gearbox, to be installed between the R.D.8’s existing gearbox, and the clutch. This gearbox was to increase the RPM to 1200, and increase speed to 15mph. I don’t think this ever went further than this letter. At this point the project is still called the ‘R.D.8 Tank’ [3], later in development this was changed to the ‘25-ton Tractor Tank’.
Source [7] confirms that the vehicles were returned to standard D.8 bulldozers from at least 1944, with everything taken off was scrapped or repurposed. However, before this was done the Bob Semple was evaluated by the Superintendent of Design in Australia, Lt Colonel Milner, along with the Schofield Wheel-Cum Track vehicle.

Fun fact, that’s not corrugated iron on the hull but ERA so advanced that even modern MBTs could not pen it.

This could be a worthy Dreams Come True Event Vehicle, given its fame and being a very iconic vehicle. The 37mm gun could be an optional modification. Similar to the GWP of the TOG II.
Should be added and get the same BR 6.3 as T20, because both are equally OP.
