Only if they get AP rounds, and even then they’ll struggle against most WW1 tanks.
It would be able to engage armored cars though, so the Semple can strike true fear in the hearts of its enemies.

Which? M3, M5 or M6? They have different Barrle lengthes, velocitys and types of recoil compensation.

Hell yeah, +1. Perfect event vehicle, even if it won’t be practical, and the 37mm version could be added as a prem so everyone has a chance to bask in it’s glory.
