I would love to see the 37 mm variant in-game, if not at least be part of an event around Bob Semple and other vehicles similar to it where only small-caliber MGs are available.

The 37mm version would be perfect for the “Dreams Come True” event since every vehicle added through that event is unhistorical or unfinished in some way. Easy +1

there are man vehicles that should not be added to the game just from the point of sheer impracticality but this one has sheer meme status that deserves it being added as a reward for reaching level 100

For an april fools event vehicle yes. Otherwise it couldn’t do much in the game.

Only if they get AP rounds, and even then they’ll struggle against most WW1 tanks.
It would be able to engage armored cars though, so the Semple can strike true fear in the hearts of its enemies.

Hell yeah, +1. Perfect event vehicle, even if it won’t be practical, and the 37mm version could be added as a prem so everyone has a chance to bask in it’s glory.

The 37mm Cannon wasn’t due to the time. The Kiwis were fearful that the Japanese were gonna attack any time soon within a couple of weeks. So the travel for US 37mm’s, copies of blueprints, and other sorts just wouldn’t be possible.
